Mexican navy tall ship hits Brooklyn Bridge, snapping masts, killing 2 crew members

The vessel had 277 people aboard, 22 of them were injured, of whom 19 needed medical treatment.

00:00A Mexican Navy ship on a global goodwill tour struck the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, killing two crew members.
00:09New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the bridge sustained no major damage,
00:14but at least 19 people aboard the ship needed medical treatment.
00:19As the ship approached the bridge, its three mast struck the bridge and snapped, one by one, even as the vessel continued moving forward.
00:29The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
