00:00Look, ceasefire, I think one of you asked me inside about trade as well.
00:07So on the ceasefire, I mean what you call ceasefire, we call cessation of firing and
00:13military action.
00:16We achieved the goals which we set out to do by destroying the terrorist infrastructure
00:25in Bawalpur, Muridke, Muzaffarabad and other places.
00:30So after that, I think since the key goals were achieved, I think we reasonably took the
00:38position that – because even at that start, at the start of the operation, we had sent
00:44a message to Pakistan saying we are striking at terrorist infrastructure, we are not striking
00:50at the military.
00:51So the military has an option of standing out and not interfering in this process.
00:56They chose not to take that good advice.
00:59Now once they got hit as badly as they did on the morning of May 10th and all of you have
01:09seen the, you know, today the satellite pictures which actually bring out very graphically how
01:18much damage we did.
01:19By the way, the satellite pictures also bring out how little damage they did.
01:23So these pictures, I think, will tell you what a hit they took.
01:28And the same people who are not willing to stand down on 7th May were willing to talk and
01:33stand down on the 10th of May.
01:36So it is very clear who wanted the cessation of firing.
