00:00Welcome to the wild side, where the truth can't hide.
00:14Savage unfiltered, we rise, no filters, no alibis.
00:24Notice why I said that twice.
00:26Turn up the volume, feel the heat, we break the silence, we would cheat, but sweet nothing.
00:42Just street talk, on this path, we boldly walk.
00:47This ain't your grandpappy's old tune, we're the thunder beneath the moon.
01:02Diarrhea of the mind, we unleash, every story roars, it won't cease.
01:10Savage war, unfiltered delight, we bring the chaos, we ignite, no apologies, just unlock, step right up, if you dare to bark.
01:26Steal every heartbeat, hear the clash, living loud, it's a vile rebash.
01:32We won't show the cold, don't need a crutch, this is the real, it hits you hard like a punch.
01:40For me, I share every rise and shout.
01:46Savage unfiltered, there's no doubt, so take a seat and hold on tight.
01:54I'm gonna give him like the stone-cold stunner in a couple minutes if he doesn't behave.
02:04Who's gonna get the tombstone?
02:08Elon Musk, I have this to say to you on behalf of the American people.
02:26Thank you. Thank you so much. It's been incredible. You're really appreciated.
02:31Keep going. You can do it.
02:3950-year-old, that information in the database wrong and they legitimately deserve checks and we need to correct their age or indeed is it fraud because over 18 million.
02:57This isn't a rounding error.
03:01Savage unfiltered.
03:07We take a look at a podcast called the Savage unfiltered show hosted by Michael Gardner and New York native now based in Florida.
03:15The show covers a wide range of topics, including politics, culture, science, films, mysticism and interviews, often with a conservative and unfiltered perspective.
03:25Gardner discusses current events, societal issues and personal anecdotes, frequently criticizing what he perceives as wokeism, government overreach and leftist ideologies.
03:36The podcast features regular co-hosts like Raging Joe, along with various guests, including media personalities, political candidates and cultural commentators.
03:46Hit that follow button for a wild roller coaster of a podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
03:52iHeartRadio.
03:54What's been on my mind?
03:56A lot of things.
03:57We're going to keep it short and sweet, though.
04:00A couple of weeks back, I posted an episode about a month back.
04:04I posted an episode from this guy, Eric.
04:07Eric and I had an amazing time and we got one of the many things we talked about was intellectual exercise.
04:21You out there?
04:23You listening?
04:25Raw and unfiltered.
04:27Joe was pulling out the drugs on the show, the prescription.
04:30Yeah.
04:31Yeah.
04:32Yeah.
04:33Throw that shit out the window, Joe, and get you some Liv Rishi.
04:36I'm telling you, guys, I'm not a big fan of medication, but I'm always stocked up with Rishi Bob, especially the, you know, little chap, you know, lips, especially in Georgia.
04:48It's getting a little cold here, you know, and if you paid attention, my beard is kind of drying out a little bit because the weather is starting to get a little cold.
04:56So every now and then I'll put a little Rishi Bob on my lips, you know, and it's great.
05:07Welcome back to a podcast, not like the rest, where we deliver nothing but savaged and uncut content.
05:12Where did I go?
05:17From a lifestyle studio in Tampa, brings a show so raw and uncut we mean.
05:21No filter on savaged, unfiltered, savaged.
05:34Hey, guys, what is up?
05:36What is up, guys?
05:37How the hell are you?
05:40I'm telling you, guys, it's one of those days.
05:42Happy Tuesday to you guys.
05:45Happy savage streaming day.
05:47All right, guys, we are savaged, unfiltered, the diarrhea of the mind.
05:51So hat tip to my good friend Boner out there for kind of coming up with the lyrics to that song.
05:59Appreciate it.
06:00And, you know, he came up with two other songs, which we're going to feature another song here.
06:05His wife actually came up with.
06:08You're really, really going to enjoy that damn near, you know, set on the topic here with the show.
06:14So I appreciate the hell out of those two individuals, including the other members of his band, too, which which we're going to bring on the show soon, guys.
06:25So you're going to want to check out that episode.
06:28But, you know, we got we got Joe, of course.
06:31Joe, Joe.
06:32Right.
06:33Raging Joe.
06:34What's up?
06:35I'm up.
06:36I'd rather still be in bed, but I'm up.
06:39Joe, why would you rather be in bed?
06:43I don't know.
06:44I just tired, tired, tired, mentally and physically drained.
06:51As you know, I had my heart valve replacement surgery a while ago and I'm I still looks like the gay pride flag down there.
07:03Red, purple, black, blue, yellow.
07:07I'm still because they go in through the groin, through the artery, up to the heart.
07:13It's like you're killing me, Joe.
07:15Oh, you're killing me.
07:17You know, like what is Joe?
07:21Not enough.
07:22Oh, my God.
07:23Oh, my.
07:24Right.
07:25Oh, my God.
07:26But but, Joe, you got anything going on, man, besides the issues that you have with the the rainbow flag, I guess.
07:36No, no show.
07:39This show, of course, doing great.
07:41My show still, you know, pissing people off there.
07:47Although a G rated version, I still still pissing people off with G language.
07:56Hey, Joe.
07:57Joe, who are you pissing off this week?
08:00Anybody in particular or no?
08:02You want to give out any names or should we just kind of put it behind the curtain?
08:06Well, a long list of people I blocked on Truth Social.
08:11Yeah, it's like, you know, listen, if you can't.
08:15Right.
08:16It's like the A Few Good Men movie.
08:19You can't handle the truth.
08:21If you can't fucking handle reality, the good, the bad, the ugly.
08:26It isn't always positive for our side.
08:30If you can't fucking deal in the reality.
08:33I called her a rah, rah, rah, political slut rally.
08:38Oh, my God.
08:40Yeah.
08:41Rally group.
08:42Right.
08:43You know, he's a man.
08:44I'm a man.
08:45We're all frail, imperfect.
08:47They can make mistakes.
08:49No one, including the former nincompoop, is above reproach or criticism.
08:56Right.
08:57If you can't deal in reality and the truth all the time, get the fuck off my feed.
09:04That's what we call rage and Joe, guys.
09:07I mean, you know, the rage comes out of him, like literally within the first millimeter of a second, for God's sakes.
09:13But no, no, Joe, I get you, man.
09:15They can't deal in reality.
09:17Right.
09:18They have to make up this Alice in Wonderland, delusional sitcom of their society where everybody is racist and all this other crap.
09:28Well, I'm talking about people supposedly on our side are emotional, hysterical snowflakes.
09:35Also, they don't deal in facts and evidence.
09:38Their feelings.
09:40I'm glad they're on our side, but you're as bad as a left turn in your feelings.
09:47Facts don't care about your feelings.
09:49Right.
09:50If there isn't one thing you can think to disagree with Donald Trump on, you're a fucking retard because it's human nature.
10:03Spouses don't always agree.
10:06Twins don't always fucking agree.
10:10You're not a thinker.
10:12You're a sheeple.
10:14I don't care if it's Trump, the Pope, or you left-thirds Biden.
10:23Oh, yeah, anything and everything they say.
10:26Oh, yeah, I'm on board.
10:28You got no criticism whatsoever.
10:30You're a sheeple.
10:32Like, I disagree with Trump on the penny thing.
10:36Eliminating the penny, real bad fucking idea, and I wrote about it on Substack.
10:42I won't go into details here.
10:44Yeah, I was going to want you to go into details, but okay, we won't go into details.
10:48I mean, obviously, it's a big deal, right?
10:51But does anybody use pennies anymore, Joe?
10:54Well, two quick points.
10:57Number one, no, you are not going to fucking round up my taxes.
11:03If we eliminate the penny, everything will be rounded up to the next nickel.
11:08And then, oh, well, let's eliminate the nickel and round everything up to the next dime.
11:15Then the next quarter.
11:17No, you're not fucking going to do that.
11:20They're not going to round down.
11:23No, you are not fucking eliminating the penny.
11:27I don't care if it costs $1.25 to make every fucking penny.
11:32No, no, no.
11:34And it's also unintended consequences.
11:38Mark of the Beast, idiocy, slippery slope argument.
11:42You eliminate the penny.
11:45We're way down the road to complete and only digital currency.
11:50And they can shut off your buying and spending any time they like if there isn't paper and coin currency.
12:00Joe, Joe, Joe, man, I'm telling you, you put him on the five, dude.
12:05I don't know.
12:06Like you and Gutfeld with a tag team on that show, man.
12:09Holy shit.
12:10Yeah.
12:11No, Joe, I do.
12:12You know, people have not thought it through.
12:16And I'm not calling anybody.
12:18I don't mean to say anybody stupid.
12:20And I'm certainly not calling Trump stupid on this.
12:24I just don't think anyone has explained the full problem of his current stance on it.
12:34If I got five minutes with him, I bet I'd be able to talk him out of it.
12:39Make it out of tin and paint it copper.
12:42There are things we could do to bring down the cost of making a penny, not eliminating.
12:48It's fucking stupid.
12:52People who support it aren't stupid.
12:55They're just not thought it all the way through yet.
12:59Yeah.
13:00I mean, you know, little things that we should be worried about.
13:02I mean, a penny.
13:03Come on.
13:04We should be worried about more things.
13:05But I want to I want to save some of that.
13:07Oh, I dug up the white board with his white board again.
13:11For God's sake.
13:12Yeah.
13:13I finally dug up the white board again.
13:14Savage sucks.
13:15Just kidding, people.
13:17I love you, brother.
13:18Love you, brother.
13:19But I had on Fox News and Rove was on again and he dug out his white board.
13:25Oh, I got to dig out my white board.
13:27So that's the way you stole it from.
13:29I knew he was stealing it from someone.
13:31No, no, no.
13:32I love you, too, Joe.
13:33But, guys, we have a.
13:35God, take it down a notch, Joe, today.
13:37Jesus Christ.
13:38No, no, no, no.
13:39And again, this is me without caffeine.
13:42Yeah, I know, Joe.
13:43I know.
13:44You're not even on caffeine.
13:45Can you imagine if he was on coffee?
13:46Oh, my God.
13:47Jesus.
13:48But no, guys, we have a we have a fellow podcaster joining us.
13:52Ray do star.
13:54If I pronounce your last name, Ray, wrong.
13:57I do apologize.
13:58My pronunciation sucks, by the way.
14:00And before we bring Ray in, that's what you hear in the background.
14:06Chill breathing.
14:07You know, I was I was snorting on my Vicks inhaler.
14:12No, not doing cocaine in the background.
14:16Vicks inhaler.
14:18As I was as I was telling holistic hypochondriac Michael here,
14:24it's just eucalyptus.
14:26And this is not Mr.
14:28Joe.
14:29We get it.
14:30This is not a drug.
14:32We get it, Joe.
14:33God, man.
14:34Anyway, guys, this is Ray do star from his show.
14:37Deep, shallow dive podcast.
14:39Welcome into the show, Ray.
14:41Hey, man, it's good to be here.
14:44Joe, I got to tell you something.
14:45You know, you're a little bit unhinged, but in the best way possible.
14:50Seriously.
14:51And you know what?
14:53What you said about the penny.
14:54When I first heard that, I was like, who gives a shit?
14:57Who cares about the penny?
14:58Who uses a penny?
14:59But you know what?
15:00The concept of that being precedent for potentially the nickel than the
15:04dime.
15:05Dude, that's it.
15:06That's an interesting take.
15:08That is.
15:09How many?
15:10How many times have we argued about the slippery slope?
15:14Fucking wake up.
15:16If it applies to everything and we have to be the thinkers in the room
15:23for the emotional hysteric snowflakes who won't think about anything.
15:29No, I listen.
15:30Listen again.
15:31That's a great take.
15:32I mean, what I talk about all the time is like calling a spade a spade.
15:36And I think we're all aligned for the most part politically.
15:39But here's the thing.
15:40Like you said again, another great point.
15:43You're like, hey, if you don't have anything on Trump to criticize, you're
15:48a retard.
15:49And you are because you can't be all in on any of these guys.
15:55You know, we've all heard Trump derangement syndrome.
15:58And I think half the country still probably has it.
16:01But I'll tell you what.
16:03And I think I kind of coined this phrase.
16:05There's a big chunk of the country that has Trump worship syndrome.
16:09And that Trump worship syndrome, if not kept in check, it's almost as bad.
16:14It's almost as bad.
16:15Oh, it is as bad.
16:17I spoke out all the time about Obama zombies.
16:21Right.
16:22If you wouldn't put up with it for Barack Obama, you can't.
16:27You're not principled.
16:29If you're a hypocrite, you're a liar.
16:32You're a fool.
16:33You're a sheeple.
16:35If, oh, hey, rah, rah, rah, my guy.
16:38No.
16:39Let me ask you guys something.
16:42What do you guys think about a couple weeks ago, there was all that
16:46discussion about like Trump running for a third term.
16:50And then it was like Obama running for a third term.
16:54Trump versus Obama.
16:55I did a poll on the Deep Shallow Dive Instagram.
16:59And I'll tell you, it was fucking refreshing.
17:02I said, if Trump versus Obama, 2028, would you vote Trump?
17:09Would you vote Obama?
17:11Or neither?
17:12This is unconstitutional.
17:1376% of people said it's unconstitutional.
17:19And I loved that.
17:20Thank God.
17:21I was like, thank God.
17:22Yeah.
17:23What's wrong with the other 24%?
17:27They're not conservative.
17:29They're not constitutionalists.
17:31They are what I'm talking about.
17:33Hypocrite sheeple.
17:35Rah, rah, rah, my side, my guy.
17:38No.
17:39Principles, not personalities.
17:42If you don't stand for Obama, you can't stand for it for Trump.
17:47Yeah.
17:48I call it the Alice in Wonderland effect.
17:50You know, because that's their delusion, right?
17:52Everybody's holding a blank.
17:54Out in their own rabbit hole.
17:56Yeah.
17:57Everybody's holding a blank set of cards with like delusion written
18:00all over it, right?
18:01Oh, no, Trump is going to get us into a tariff war with all these
18:06countries, and he's going to bankrupt America.
18:08I mean, come on, folks.
18:11No, exactly.
18:12It's like the guys that are the problem.
18:15Honestly, for me right now, Fox is CNN.
18:19I consider those two heads of the same fucking snake.
18:24You know what I mean?
18:26Their entire business model is division.
18:30They want to create division.
18:32They're not going to give you nuance.
18:34And I feel like right now, I mean, honestly, guys like you guys, guys
18:39like Tucker Carlson, Rogan, Candace Owens, I mean, even the Jake
18:45Shields of the world, the podcasters are giving people nuance, and
18:50they're giving people, quite frankly, both sides of the story.
18:54That's what we need.
18:55You heard my take on the penny.
18:58You've heard that nowhere else.
19:00No one else will give you the facts and the reality of it and the
19:05context like I did, and I go in more in my substack piece on that.
19:12Right?
19:13But yeah, real news, faux news.
19:16I watched The Five, and I watched Gutfeld that night.
19:19Other than that, I don't watch much of Snooze Max either, because
19:23every 45 minutes, they're taking a 15 minute break to try to sell
19:28you more stock to line their pockets.
19:30Hey, they got to cater to that crypto stuff.
19:33God, man.
19:35Who's Snooze Max?
19:37What's Snooze Max?
19:38News Max.
19:39Oh, News Max.
19:40Yeah.
19:41Joe comes up with the cutest little names to all these little
19:46companies of entities.
19:48Joe, what's CNN?
19:51You have a great name for CNN.
19:53Yeah.
19:54Well, Communist News Network.
19:56But MSNBC, I call them the MSNBCils.
20:00M-S-N-B-C-I-L-E-S.
20:03You should call them MSNBCils.
20:06Is that what you said?
20:08Did you say sills or shills?
20:09They're imbeciles.
20:10Oh, imbeciles.
20:11Got it.
20:12Got it.
20:13But that works too.
20:15That works too.
20:17What's your right on the board today, Joe?
20:19He's writing up something, guys.
20:21I like that little board.
20:22I'm writing up MSNBCils.
20:25Oh, that's funny.
20:26That's funny.
20:27And Snooze Max.
20:30Because, you know, I forget the guy's name.
20:35I can picture him in my head, but he's no longer much on the air.
20:40He's behind the scenes.
20:42But he has TDS every bit as much as some of the faux news and all
20:48at CNN and all the MSNBCils and the pigs at The View have.
20:54Yeah.
20:55Joe, speaking of.
20:56So I watch OAN mostly.
20:58Yeah.
20:59Speaking of those networks, did you guys catch a glimpse of who
21:03replaced the latest anchor?
21:06What was it?
21:08Peppermint Patty.
21:09Did you see that, Joe?
21:10Ever since Peppermint Patty, Jen Psaki came on to replace the other
21:16Nimrod.
21:17The ratings have been coming down like crazy.
21:20Yeah.
21:21Like within the first week.
21:22Circle back.
21:23Psaki.
21:24Yeah.
21:25Yeah.
21:26Circle back.
21:27Psaki.
21:28Yeah.
21:29That's funny.
21:30But like seriously, you got to call out everything on both sides.
21:33Like right now, this whole, you know, Qatar gifting Trump Air Force
21:39One.
21:40I'm not with that.
21:41I'm not with that.
21:42That's a problem.
21:43It's a problem.
21:44Exactly.
21:45That's a problem.
21:46You know, as people are like, oh, they're going to, they're going to
21:49wire it so they can ease drop on conversations.
21:52Okay.
21:53I mean, you could sweep for that.
21:55Oh, they're going to set it up.
21:56So like on the 20th flight, it blows up.
21:59Okay.
22:00I'm sure.
22:01I'm sure they can guard against that.
22:02I don't.
22:03Right.
22:04I don't see those.
22:05But what I don't like is the optics, man.
22:06It's like America's the strongest country in the world.
22:09We're the biggest power in the world taking a gift like that.
22:12I mean, to me, it's like, it's a sign of weakness.
22:15Oh, I wanted to know.
22:16I agree with you again.
22:18Principles, not personalities.
22:20If you wouldn't stand for Obama, right?
22:23Right.
22:24Taking a plane from Iran.
22:26I told us you can't fucking stand for this with Trump.
22:31And I wanted to joke with you.
22:33What are you?
22:34A Cleveland Browns fan with all this black and orange.
22:37You know what?
22:38Actually, that's pretty funny because ironically, I did grow up in
22:41Cleveland.
22:42So I am.
22:44I'm Cleveland.
22:45So I didn't, you know, colors based on that.
22:49But maybe you were in the story.
22:51You were subconsciously influenced.
22:54Maybe.
22:55No.
22:56No.
22:57Right.
22:58Right.
22:59You got the whole Drew Carey shit going on, man, with the glasses.
23:00I love it, by the way.
23:01Cleveland, Ohio.
23:02He's like Drew Carey.
23:04Rocks.
23:05Rocks.
23:06Right.
23:07I was going to pull out my suspenders for you guys.
23:10Add a little touch of Larry King.
23:12King to the mix.
23:13I met him once at a Don Rickles.
23:16Me and my now ex-wife.
23:18We saw a Rickles show in Vegas.
23:22I forget what casino it was.
23:24Larry King was literally three seats over with me.
23:27Oh, from me in the same row with his young girlfriend.
23:31And Rickles lit him up all night.
23:35And King.
23:36I earned a lot of respect for King because he was laughing his ass off.
23:41He understands you got to make fun of yourself or you can't make fun of others.
23:47Laughter is the key medicine.
23:50I keep on telling people that.
23:51But humor is dead today in this country.
23:53People don't know how to laugh.
23:54Can you imagine if Don Rickles, George Carlin, and Norm MacDonald.
24:01If we had the three of those guys today.
24:04Oh, my God.
24:05Hey, don't forget about George Carlin.
24:07Did you say George Carlin?
24:08Yeah.
24:09Yeah.
24:10George Carlin was the OG.
24:12You can actually play George Carlin clips from, what, 15, 20 years ago.
24:19And they are applicable right now.
24:22Absolutely.
24:23You can literally pretend the guy is still alive because they hit that hard.
24:27I love how the left tries to claim him and use memes with him.
24:32He was a libertarian, you morons.
24:35He was not a left-hard.
24:38Yeah.
24:39I mean, that should be the comedy Mount Rushmore, right?
24:43Carlin.
24:44Let's even put, like, Jeff Foxworthy, maybe Ron White in there.
24:49Put Pryor up there.
24:51The comedy Mount Rushmore.
24:53Oh, man.
24:54You'd have to go Carlin, Richard Pryor.
24:58I mean, I think Dave Chappelle's on there.
25:00Who?
25:01Dave Chappelle.
25:04Yeah.
25:05Benny.
25:06What?
25:07Loose.
25:08Looch.
25:09Oh, God almighty.
25:11Even Carlin paid homage to him, and now I can't think of his name.
25:16Benny Loose?
25:17Benny Bruce?
25:18You're talking about Benny Hill?
25:20No, not Benny Hill.
25:22Oh, Lenny Bruce.
25:24Oh, okay.
25:25Lenny Bruce.
25:26No, that should be literally the comedy Mount Rushmore.
25:31Yeah.
25:33You know what?
25:34I'd throw Zappa up there, too, because of the song parody comedy he always did.
25:41Yeah, I hear you.
25:43So, Ray, talk about-
25:44Give me your dream job.
25:46Oh, God.
25:47Here we go again with fucking Joe singing.
25:48God, Joe.
25:49Small.
25:50You know the company Small, the app?
25:52They couldn't even fix your voice, Joe.
25:55I need shares produced, all right?
26:00Use that auto tune.
26:01Do you believe in life after love?
26:04Oh, my gosh.
26:05Oh, man.
26:06Oh, man.
26:07Savage.
26:08Savage is truly unfiltered, this show.
26:11I'm telling you, we got to bring Joe down a notch.
26:14He's at a 10.
26:15We got to bring him down to a five sometimes.
26:17No, this goes to 11.
26:19And this is no caffeine, huh, Joe?
26:21For the Spinal Cap fans.
26:22Yeah, this is no Coke, no caffeine.
26:25This is me.
26:27I have good bursts.
26:30I have chronic fatigue immune dysfunction system.
26:34After this show, I'll need a nap.
26:37I'll be spent.
26:38Hey, Joe.
26:39I have to over-talk Joe sometimes because he can't even hear me sometimes.
26:43That's how fucking loud he is sometimes.
26:45No, no, no.
26:46When we go up to Pittsburgh in August, Joe, I got to warn the producers and the camera crew about you when they put you on because Joe's going to be joining us digitally through the little Zoom camera that they have set up there.
26:58I'm going to tell them about you, where they have to sometimes cut you out a little bit.
27:03Don't be mad, but fucking Joe, man.
27:06Yeah, make sure to moderate.
27:08You don't want my mic at 10 right here.
27:12You know what?
27:13Joe, let me ask you a serious question.
27:15What's going on with your heart?
27:16You have a pacemaker in there?
27:18What do you get?
27:19No.
27:21Last month, I went in for tests to prepare for a heart valve main aorta replacement surgery.
27:29And they put a stint in because they discovered an artery 80% blocked.
27:34But a couple weeks ago, I had in through the groin, you know, the TAVR heart valve replacements.
27:42They don't have to rip open the chest anymore, thank God.
27:46But yeah, I had that done because I had a congenital heart defect since birth.
27:52Heart issues run on my dad's side of the family.
27:56So I had a leaky main valve and that had to be replaced.
28:01Did you start to experience symptoms?
28:04Like, did you start to have symptoms?
28:06Oh, big time.
28:07You know, the shortness of breath.
28:10I can't walk up and down even my basement stairs without having to stop and go.
28:17That's all.
28:18That's all.
28:19So I couldn't even walk down my block without stopping.
28:24And they attributed that to the valve, not necessarily the blockage of the arteries.
28:30Correct.
28:31That was a valve issue.
28:33The blood wasn't flowing properly because they explained it like this.
28:38Your main aorta valve is kind of like a three-leaf clover.
28:43It's one valve, but it's kind of three parts.
28:48And two of the three leaves were fused together, and therefore it wasn't working properly.
28:57So what's a healthy leaf, if I can put some humor into it?
29:00I mean, what would my leaf be?
29:02Three-leaf clover, yes.
29:05Okay, so I should have a three-leaf clover in my heart.
29:08That would be if you had a heart.
29:11We all know you don't have a heart.
29:13That's hilarious.
29:15He walked himself into that one.
29:17I do it all the time on this show.
29:19I mean, I'm a walking, like, plank with Joe here.
29:22No, no, no.
29:23No, I want to talk a little bit about your show here.
29:26Obviously, we're kind of putting some mixture of politics in.
29:29And I appreciate Joe for bringing that in because, you know, that's Joe's vocabulary.
29:33He's a walking dictionary of politics.
29:36So, no, tell us a little bit about your show, Ray.
29:39And how the hell did you get into the industry, man?
29:41Well, you know what, man?
29:43For me, honestly, it all started with COVID for me.
29:46And literally that day, March 13, 2020, when I forget who it was.
29:51I don't know if it was Trump.
29:53I don't think it was Fauci.
29:55But whoever that person was that said, hey, don't leave your house.
29:58That was when I was like, what the fuck?
30:01Like, don't leave my house.
30:03This isn't the Spanish flu.
30:05Give me a break.
30:06Exactly.
30:07And I'm not kidding.
30:08Like, that day was the impetus to the podcast.
30:13It was the impetus to the book.
30:15It's really the impetus to everything I'm doing.
30:18And quite frankly, that all sums up in just trying to wake people up and, you know, calling a spade a spade.
30:25I mean, kind of like you guys do.
30:27I love that, by the way.
30:28Amen.
30:29I love how you put that little catchphrase in there, calling a spade a spade.
30:34Is that coming?
30:35Oh, he's racist.
30:36That's all great.
30:37No, it's not racist.
30:38I couldn't resist, right?
30:43He's attempting to awaken people from their woke stupor, as we do.
30:49But you know, you know, the left is going to hate you.
30:52So they're going to say calling a spade a spade is racist.
30:58I'm kind of curious on how that came about, Ray, that whole thing.
31:03I'll tell you how that whole thing came out.
31:05So the day when COVID started, I was different, man.
31:10All of a sudden, I'm uber aware of everything that's going on, right?
31:15And so I start posting, you know, not snarky stuff on Facebook and Instagram, but like thought-provoking stuff.
31:24And it started out with posting.
31:26It went to then I wanted to have a little more long form.
31:29So I started posting stories.
31:31So the story gave you, you know, four or five slides in order to talk about, like, the perfect example would be going to a restaurant.
31:40And then you're basically have to put a mask on when you stand up.
31:45But then you sit down.
31:46So you're 24 inches lower.
31:49And then it's okay to take the mask off.
31:51Yeah, COVID doesn't exist below five feet, right?
31:55Hello, stupid.
31:57Hello.
31:58A hundred plus years of mask science out the window.
32:05An N95 is a 95 for a reason.
32:09The Wuhan hysteria particle is so small it goes through an N95.
32:14So that cloth mask is worthless, moron.
32:17Hey, Joe, I still can't get over how people are still wearing them.
32:22Yeah, I know.
32:23Like, I see people wearing them in the supermarkets, like grocery stores, all this.
32:27Like, what are you wearing?
32:28Like, even your cult leader Fauci says that the K95 or whatever the fuck it was.
32:35N95.
32:36I don't care what the hell it is, Joe.
32:37Whatever number it has at the end of it.
32:39Like, it doesn't work.
32:40It's not going to prevent you from getting COVID.
32:45Right.
32:46The particulate size micron is smaller than the N95 filters out.
32:51This is a hundred plus years of science journals tell us this.
32:58It didn't change when COVID, Wuhan hysteria came along.
33:04It shows you how quick people will fall in line.
33:08You inject fear into the system and people will fall in line.
33:13So for me, that progression was posting on Instagram and Facebook, stories on Instagram and Facebook.
33:22And then by that time, and I'm not kidding, I did that probably from 2020 to like 2022.
33:27So a good two years.
33:28And then just every time I'd post something, I'd have friends be like, dude, start a podcast.
33:34These are great.
33:35Everybody's starting a podcast now.
33:37Everybody has a message.
33:39Everybody has, you know, certain linger, they want to air and everything else.
33:44But I want to get it.
33:46It's not even about, you know, how do I want to say this?
33:51It's just about getting people to think for themselves, getting people to think critically.
33:57And like, honestly, like when I'm all about agreeing, disagreeing.
34:02But my favorite is to agree to disagree.
34:05Like, that's totally cool.
34:07But think about it for yourself.
34:09So from the.
34:10So I started the podcast in, gosh, August of 2023.
34:14And, you know, you know, man, it's nice.
34:17It's a good way to kind of connect with an audience.
34:19It's a good way to kind of inject thought provoking things into the mix.
34:24And that's really what I've been trying to do.
34:26And then from there, I had friends say like, oh, you should write a book.
34:30You should write a book.
34:31And I think you've written a book.
34:32So you understand that several, several beast of a process.
34:36That's a beast.
34:37Oh, it is.
34:38It is a beast of a process.
34:39But, you know, a lot of people using the A.I. is a cheat.
34:42And I want to get into that.
34:43I want to get into that with the book processing with you.
34:46I also want to get into these pillars with you, too, because you have a set of pillars.
34:49Right.
34:50But we're going to we're going to get into that, guys.
34:52But I got to I got to get a quick break here.
34:54A couple little guys that make this possible with this show.
34:58I want to say thank you to Blackout Coffee, guys.
35:00That's right.
35:01You see them on the upper right hand corner logo of our show here.
35:05They are exclusive sponsor here for the show.
35:08And those guys are great guys.
35:11Literally.
35:12They are literally Americans.
35:15America's conservative coffee.
35:17Right.
35:18I mean, they're literally coffee for America's warriors.
35:21Guys, for checking them out today, we're going to give you a promo code for 15 percent off
35:26your order at checkout using the promo code Savage.
35:30OK.
35:31Now, if you're not well aware of Blackout Coffee, you should be aware because they are
35:36a non woke company.
35:38And what I mean by that, guys, is they don't cater to a certain background, a certain label.
35:43None of that, guys.
35:45They are coffee for everyone.
35:48All their products are pretty much patriotic to a guns and gadgets.
35:52If you guys are, you know, pro Second Amendment advocates, that's great.
35:57You're out in the woods.
35:58You're out in the woods.
35:59You're hunting with your buds.
36:00Right.
36:01Or your family.
36:02You need a little, you know, Joe to pick you up.
36:06Right.
36:07A little coffee.
36:08Right.
36:09Sip some two way guns and gadgets.
36:10All right.
36:11Another one.
36:12My favorite guys to a.
36:14Well, I said that I'm so ahead of myself today.
36:17Another one.
36:18Brutal Awakening, guys.
36:19Right.
36:20So much labels.
36:22I mean, they're great.
36:24I love them.
36:25So thank you very much.
36:27Hat tip and shout out to John down there in South Florida for making this company possible.
36:33And it's backed by veterans, guys.
36:35That's right.
36:36A company ran and operated by veterans.
36:41Which I want to kind of plug towards the end of the show about veterans, because we're going to have an individual, a tick tock personality coming on the show.
36:52That's an advocate for for veterans.
36:56So, you know, that's that's great and dandy.
36:59But, you know, kind of back to the show.
37:01So.
37:02So, Ray, I want to get into this this this pillar stuff with you.
37:06Yeah.
37:07Yeah.
37:08You know, the pillars came about.
37:09So, like, I start writing the book and, you know, the book for me was like all about having an authentic relationship with yourself.
37:17And I'll be honest.
37:18I know that sounds cheesy as fuck.
37:19But it's kind of not because this whole process of like podcasting and this process of, you know, it it honestly takes guts to put your real opinions on the Internet.
37:31It absolutely does.
37:33It takes balls to, like, put yourself out there.
37:36And as I started putting myself out there more and more in terms of the podcast, in terms of being a little more aggressive on what I was posting and really posting my views.
37:47And then when I started writing the book, you know, I wanted it to to be almost like a guide to help people have this authentic relationship with themselves.
37:57And these four pillars kind of came about naturally because it all centered around authenticity for me.
38:03It's like I try to be an authentic person, whether I'm on the air or I'm off the air.
38:08The other one, the second pillar is really self-awareness.
38:12I think that's the one that's lacking in politics.
38:15And quite frankly, with so many people online, like having the ability to be self-aware of self-reflection.
38:23Yeah, exactly.
38:24Reflecting and then also just like realizing at the end of the day, dude, we're all the same.
38:29Everybody is a human being and you need to understand that.
38:34And that really leads to empathy.
38:36I mean, that's my favorite one.
38:39Yeah, the empathy and the self-awareness.
38:42Those are my two favorite pillars you got.
38:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
38:46Authenticity is important because honor and integrity is lost these days.
38:51People don't have any respect because they don't earn it because they're not authentic.
38:57And are each of the four of those a chapter in your book?
39:02They should be.
39:03And you need my how to write a book.
39:06Where would that thing stand?
39:08At Amazon.
39:09And everybody else, you said, hey, start your own podcast.
39:13They need my podcast and quick start guide.
39:16Oh, I love it.
39:17Available on Amazon.
39:19Damn, I should have had those.
39:21I should have had those before I did the two of those.
39:23Joe has a book for just about every topic.
39:28And then the fourth one is resilience.
39:30I mean, you've got to be resilient in this day and age.
39:33Amen.
39:34Especially if you want to be a social media persona.
39:38Because, again, it doesn't matter what you say.
39:41You're going to get attacked.
39:42You're absolutely going to get attacked.
39:44You could say one thing and then say the exact opposite the next day,
39:48and you'll still get attacked from both directions.
39:50Got to have a thick skin, yeah.
39:52So the pillars for me, they just keep me grounded.
39:55They're not each a chapter in the book.
39:57Instead, the book has a chapter on how to be authentic with yourself,
40:02with your family, with your business, how to be authentic with politics.
40:06And then all of those chapters kind of come back to the pillars,
40:11and I give people, you know, I just give you shit to think about.
40:15You know what I mean?
40:16Like, this isn't some guru-type stuff.
40:18This isn't any of that.
40:20It's just common sense.
40:22Great.
40:23Right.
40:24Common sense and food for thought.
40:26You're not telling anyone how to think, but think about these things
40:31and become a logic, reason-based, not an emotional, hysteric, snowflake person.
40:38Yeah, absolutely.
40:40And again, here's the thing.
40:41You know, the snowflake and the woke left and all that,
40:44I mean, again, I completely agree.
40:46And the country was headed in a very, very terrible direction with that.
40:51But again, we've got to be careful about this Trump worship stuff
40:55because, you know, we can't.
40:58It's almost like we cannot go from one extreme to the other extreme.
41:03You know, like that just can't happen because if that happens,
41:07we're really no better off.
41:09So, for example, I mean, this whole Qatar $400 billion plane,
41:14it's a perfect example.
41:16Everybody should be unified in saying, hey, this is ridiculous.
41:21Like, this is bad optics.
41:24This is not what we should be doing.
41:26Well, you know, I love the fact that you have these pillars.
41:30And, you know, we put a graphic up here on the screen,
41:33you know, the four pillars rule, right?
41:35With you, I think there's what?
41:37There's four, right?
41:38So, yeah.
41:39Well, our graphic matches your principle pretty much.
41:44But, I mean, these should be the four pillars of life, right?
41:47Yeah.
41:48Everyone should pretty much live by that more or less.
41:50I mean, you can apply these to anything that's going on.
41:54I'll tell you, the empathy one is kind of my favorite as well.
41:57And I'll be very honest, man.
41:59I'll be very honest.
42:00That one has really honed in for me as I've watched what has taken place in Gaza.
42:06You know, again, wherever you net out on that issue, you cannot watch that stuff.
42:13If you watch that stuff on your phone for the past 18 months
42:17and you don't feel empathy, you're a fucking animal.
42:22You are a fucking animal.
42:24Hey, Ray, I've got an example on your authenticity.
42:28I'd like to take it a little different.
42:30Having values and principles, as I said,
42:33but that does not mean being completely inflexible and unmoving.
42:40Compromise is okay.
42:42For example, I'm as anti-tax as they come.
42:46Therefore, I've always been anti-tariff.
42:49But hey, what do you want?
42:51To declare war on China and get in a military conflict?
42:56Tariffs are a tool we must use.
43:00So I give Trump grace on that.
43:04Otherwise, I would oppose him normally on that.
43:08Authenticity doesn't mean complete inflexibility.
43:13No, absolutely.
43:14And like the tariffs are a great example.
43:16And I want to get your opinion on this.
43:18So I'll support the tariff process as well.
43:23But here's the question.
43:24Instead of coming at the tariffs the way he did,
43:28what if he had said,
43:29Hey, we're going to meet country by country
43:32and we're going to give every country 90 days.
43:3590 days is nothing.
43:36It's three months.
43:37It's three months in the first year of the presidency.
43:40Even 120 days is nothing.
43:42What if he said,
43:43We're going to meet country by country.
43:45We're going to give you 90 to 120 days.
43:47At the end of that,
43:48we expect the seesaw to be balanced a little bit better.
43:54If you don't balance it,
43:56then we're going to rain hellfire on you.
43:59I'm down with that.
44:04Yeah.
44:05Joe, one second.
44:06One second.
44:07I want to answer this.
44:08Joe, I love you, buddy.
44:09I like giving you too much air time.
44:11Let me step in a little bit.
44:13But no, no, no.
44:15I think that the whole tariff decision under President Trump is important
44:21and it's beneficial for our economy.
44:23Okay.
44:24Even though the naysayers are saying it's going to bankrupt our economy
44:28for simple reasons,
44:30they don't understand the two definitions of recipient tax
44:35and the tariffs that come along with it as well, too.
44:39It's going to jumpstart our economy, more or less.
44:43Joe, you would agree with that, Joe.
44:45We've talked about that many times on the show.
44:47And I understand where Ray's coming from,
44:50but that's not the authentic art of the deal Trump.
44:53He's the bombastic.
44:56I tell you in public,
44:59I'll launch the first salvo and we're going to get it done.
45:04I don't have 10 years.
45:06I only have four.
45:08So I give him grace on the way he's doing it.
45:12The way he's doing it.
45:13The Dow hit 42.
45:14The Dow hit over 42.
45:16And the left is silent.
45:18The left is silent.
45:20Let me ask you this, though.
45:22When you have this tariff discussion,
45:25I'll tell you what's not happening is,
45:27it's the U.S. companies.
45:30We're not buying Chinese brands.
45:33We're buying American brands that are made in China.
45:38The question is,
45:39why are we not busting Apple's balls to say,
45:42hey, you know,
45:44and by the way,
45:45these grandiose statements that get made where the companies have committed to
45:50500 billion over the next four years.
45:53Pay attention.
45:54Everyone from Apple to the Saudis,
45:57to Samsung,
45:58to everybody.
45:59They always give themselves a runway.
46:01They say over the next four years.
46:04Why do they do that?
46:05Because if by year three and a half,
46:08they're seeing the country's not happy and it's going to shift back over to
46:12Democrat.
46:13They're just going to back out.
46:15Well,
46:16here's the problem with that,
46:17Ray.
46:18People have become so accustomed.
46:20Like you just mentioned products in China,
46:22right?
46:23People have become so used to and conditioned to buy shit off of Timu and
46:29sadly,
46:30Amazon,
46:31that a lot of these companies do business with.
46:35Places like China and Taiwan and all these other countries.
46:38So who's benefiting more?
46:40Those countries are benefiting more.
46:42Not,
46:43not United States.
46:44No,
46:45the corporations in the United States are,
46:47I mean,
46:48why look at Apple?
46:49I mean,
46:50look at the wealth that Amazon,
46:52look at Amazon.
46:53Look at big tech has created wealth for big tech.
46:58You see what I mean?
46:59Like,
47:00I don't know.
47:01I'm talking about the wealth that the,
47:03the,
47:04the other countries,
47:05sure.
47:06Amazon,
47:07Timu,
47:08Walmart,
47:09all those companies,
47:10they're benefiting off the ass right now with,
47:12with,
47:13with production wise with,
47:14with the products.
47:15But I,
47:16I buy through Amazon,
47:17but I yell at my sister all the time.
47:19I call her the Timu queen.
47:21You gotta stop buying that cheap shit from China.
47:25Yeah.
47:26Yeah.
47:27I mean,
47:28the problem is if,
47:29even if you're buying from Amazon,
47:30it's coming from China.
47:31How different is it really?
47:32I mean,
47:33honestly,
47:34how different is it really?
47:35Oh,
47:36what's the problem with manufacturing here in the United States?
47:38What's the problem with,
47:39with making products in the United States?
47:41That's the solution.
47:42That's the solution.
47:43Hey,
47:44Ray,
47:45I,
47:46I think you will agree with me.
47:47You're anti-regulation.
47:48We want government to butt out.
47:51The left fascist loves federal dictate,
47:54but I say the label laws exist.
47:57So I want to use them.
48:00I want now a one inch by one inch flag of origin on every product,
48:07not buried on the back made in China.
48:10No,
48:11I want a one inch CCP flag on that product,
48:16a US flag,
48:17a Vietnam flag,
48:19a UK flag.
48:20I want people to know,
48:23not have the excuse.
48:25Oh,
48:26I didn't know it was coming from there.
48:27You have a choice.
48:29We are free markets.
48:31You have a choice.
48:32You can buy it from China or you could pay a little more and buy it from us,
48:37but no longer this excuse.
48:39I didn't know.
48:41Bullshit.
48:42Yeah.
48:43I'm with that.
48:44I mean,
48:45you go back to the,
48:46to,
48:47you know,
48:48arguably the greatest Republican president of all time,
48:50Ronald Reagan,
48:51right?
48:52Arguably Ronald Reagan's greatest Republican president,
48:53greatest president,
48:54even of all time,
48:55you've ever had a Republican Congress,
48:57though.
48:58Yeah.
48:59Two years in the Senate.
49:00But what was his stance on tariffs?
49:01He was very anti tariffs.
49:04He was absolutely anti tariffs.
49:06So again,
49:07my point is when this tariff conversation,
49:11there's more to it.
49:13There's more nuance to it than the way it's been handled.
49:17It is true.
49:18Before the 16th amendment,
49:19we were all tariff.
49:21Oh yeah.
49:22Yeah.
49:23What was media?
49:24What was the media outlets talking about when Obama and Bill Clinton were,
49:29you know,
49:30mixing it up with the tariffs,
49:31right?
49:32They weren't,
49:33they weren't there talking about it.
49:34Of course not.
49:35Biden kept a lot of the tariffs Trump's put in place.
49:39And again,
49:40they were silent about it.
49:42Of course they were.
49:43Because they're hypocrites.
49:44Yeah.
49:45I didn't change.
49:46This is exactly the same as Trump's.
49:48And now I will say this for Trump.
49:51He has been saying this for 40 years.
49:53Like,
49:54yeah,
49:55the dude has not changed.
49:56Yeah.
49:57I don't understand Ray.
49:58Where,
49:59you know,
50:00more or less,
50:01they're just saying it now.
50:02Like,
50:03Oh,
50:04Trump is,
50:05is going into tariffs.
50:06And no,
50:07no,
50:08no.
50:09Trump's mindset with tariffs.
50:10Like you just mentioned has been like this even since the eighties.
50:11Yeah.
50:12Yeah.
50:13Yeah.
50:14Well,
50:15interviews of him on Oprah,
50:16where Barbara Walters as well.
50:17Yeah.
50:18It's like my Holly,
50:19right?
50:20It is like,
50:21like taxation,
50:22tax rates,
50:23the laugher curve applies to little bad,
50:27too high,
50:29bad.
50:30You've got to find that sweet spot in the middle.
50:33I call it the seesaw effect.
50:35You got to have that seesaw effect where everything is centrally balanced,
50:38right?
50:39Because if you have too much heavy rocks on one side,
50:41well,
50:42you're going to go down and you're going to say down,
50:43you know,
50:44it's just the way it is.
50:46My only point with that to close out on the tariffs is,
50:48you know,
50:49I,
50:50I think that could have been done in a more stair-stepped approach.
50:55Again,
50:56you tell the American people,
50:57Hey,
50:58we've met country by country.
50:59We're giving them three months to clean up their act,
51:02to change it and to rebalance the cards a little.
51:05If they don't accomplish it within three months,
51:08then,
51:09then,
51:10then do whatever you need to do.
51:11Raise the tariff to 200% if you want.
51:13But again,
51:14it's like right out the gate.
51:15I felt that that shock that came into the economy and that's been part of the
51:20economy for the past,
51:21you know,
51:22really for the past hundred days,
51:23I don't think that was necessary.
51:25I think,
51:26I think we can get to where we're going to get to without having to have put
51:30a significant amount of Americans through the pain they're at for the past
51:35hundred days.
51:36I mean,
51:37yes,
51:38egg prices has come down a little bit,
51:39but gas really hasn't.
51:40I mean,
51:41I put gas in a Costco yesterday for,
51:42I think four 89 and I'm here in California.
51:44And that's much better to comment on that real quick because we're losing time
51:49here with Ray folks.
51:50You know,
51:51there is a significant amount of difference,
51:53Ray,
51:54with the cost of fuel in certain States.
51:57I've noticed that like here,
51:59like I reside both in Florida and Georgia.
52:01All right.
52:02I,
52:03I go back and forth for,
52:04for my little line of work with entertainment.
52:06But I mean,
52:07even in Florida and Georgia,
52:08I've noticed the gas is well under $3.
52:12Uh,
52:13in some sections as low as two 35 to 40.
52:16Now you're paying for something dollars an hour.
52:18And I mean,
52:19for,
52:20for something dollars an hour for $4 a gallon.
52:22And,
52:23uh,
52:24and,
52:25and,
52:26and calm you,
52:27uh,
52:28uh,
52:29fornia,
52:30right?
52:31I mean,
52:32you're right.
52:33California probably is,
52:34is an anomaly along those lines.
52:35I mean,
52:36we do have nice weather though.
52:37That's pretty much,
52:38that's pretty much it these days.
52:39We have nice weather in Florida,
52:41but I'm telling you,
52:42man,
52:43everybody just call a spade,
52:45a spade on everybody.
52:47And another thing that I really try to advocate for is,
52:50you know,
52:51judge the take man,
52:52judge every take.
52:53Like,
52:54I mean,
52:55here,
52:56here's what's funny.
52:57If you've paid attention to Marjorie Taylor green the past week,
53:00I mean,
53:01Marjorie Taylor green is,
53:02is saying some shit that I can't even believe.
53:06Oh yeah.
53:07Now,
53:08now they're saying she's,
53:09she's,
53:10she's going against the Republicans.
53:11Yeah.
53:12Yeah.
53:13This stuff is signed off on Marjorie Taylor green,
53:16Matt gates,
53:17Matt gates is making the rounds on podcast.
53:20And again,
53:21on the surface,
53:22they're saying stuff that you're very surprised.
53:26They're saying he was just walking off through the,
53:28uh,
53:29the halls there in the prison on El Salvador.
53:31I will take Matt gates over Marjorie Taylor green any day of the week.
53:37So,
53:38uh,
53:39MTG is AOC with an hour by your neck.
53:42She's good.
53:43I love that.
53:44I love that.
53:45I love that.
53:46Exactly.
53:47It's like Marjorie Taylor green and AOC there,
53:50Fox and CNN to me again,
53:52partisan politics,
53:54man,
53:55partisan politics,
53:56partisan politics.
53:57I say partisan politics are 2020.
54:00Anyway,
