Amid growing concerns over a possible radiation leak at Pakistani nuclear sites following intense cross-border clashes with India, the U.S. State Department has chosen to remain tight-lipped. When asked directly about reports of nuclear leaks, Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott offered no confirmation, stating, “I have nothing to preview on that at this time.”

00:00Has U.S. sent a team to Islamabad or Pakistan following the reports that there have been
00:14leaks of nuclear radiation in some of the secure Pakistani sites?
00:18I have nothing to preview on that at this time.
00:20I have one more question.
00:30THE E Music
00:50The society has fallen away from him,
01:22We want to see ceasefire be maintained and we want to encourage direct communication.
01:47That is our focus here.
01:48Our focus is the ceasefire.
01:50Our focus is on encouraging direct communication.
01:53That's where our focus is going to remain.
01:54The president has spoken on this.
02:25And just to take the first part of your question, kind of focusing on a more global foreign
02:32policy front, talking about issues around the world, the president, the president, President
02:37Trump, is a peacemaker.
02:38He's a peacemaker.
02:39He's a peacemaker.
02:40He's a peacemaker.
02:41He values peace.
02:42He's also a dealmaker.
02:43And he has shown that again and again and again in terms of both pursuing an America
02:46first agenda, but also pursuing peace and wanting to see peace and conflicts come to an end.
02:50Thank you very much.
03:08And for more information.
