00:00What was your IIT dream like?

00:02IIT to me was a breath of fresh air.

00:04So I lived a fairly protected life before IIT.

00:07So I went there.

00:08So much to do.

00:09When I picked up sports, I got into dramatics, debating, writing, so much.

00:14Something is happening all the time.

00:16Movies.

00:16So in the entire day you are in the classes and in the labs.

00:21And then you return and then you just eat something.

00:25The mess food was not too good so you don't want to eat too much.

00:27And then you get busy with your sports or something.

00:31And then you don't want to miss the movie.

00:33When I went to my first semester, I found myself rushing to the movies every second or third day.

00:38And then going to the hall and then sometimes creating a ruckus there.

00:42Stuff that, you know, obedient and disciplined, good boys never get to do at home.

00:48So I was doing all those things, night outs.

00:50So there was reading, there was sports, there was co-curriculars and politics.

00:56I had stood for the student body elections.

00:59I was quite deeply into it at one point.

01:01And it was all around fun.
