00:00Let's start by talking about U.S. investment in Saudi Arabia.

00:03How has U.S. interest in investment grown over the years?

00:09Sure. Well, thank you, Tom, for having us.

00:11And it's a pleasure to welcome the American Chamber of Commerce, Saudi Arabia, also known as Amsham.

00:17We've been around for about 35 years and we are a nonprofit, non-government, paid membership trade organization

00:26focused on the bilateral trade relationship between U.S. companies and Saudi Arabia in both directions.

00:34So this Trump visit comes at a very exciting time.

00:37With over 100 years history between our countries, trade has always been the lifeblood of the relationship.

00:43And though it has waxed and waned over those 100 years, it's really seen a steady growth since 2017 through 2020,

00:52despite the pandemic, and it has its ups and downs, most certainly.

00:58But we are very hopeful that this bilateral trade investment relationship between both countries' leaders

01:04is going to lead to a long-term and sustained investment in those key critical industries

01:11upon which Amsham Saudi Arabia currently focuses.
