00:00Who do you think should be the next Australian of the Year?

00:03In fact, do you have any thoughts on who should be the next Senior Australian of the Year,

00:07Young Australian of the Year, or Australia's local hero?

00:11We can't consider anyone for any of those roles unless they are nominated by a member of the public.

00:16So we would love to hear from you.

00:18Growing up as I did in Newcastle, in New South Wales,

00:22I know how many amazing people there are in every corner of our beautiful country.

00:26So we would really love to hear from you, whether it's somebody in your local community,

00:30it might be a friend or a family member who you admire,

00:32who you think is doing amazing things in the community,

00:35or it might be somebody you've never met but you've seen online or read about or seen on television.

00:39We would love to hear from you.
