00:31ibinahagi ng asosasyon ang kanilang mga programa na lalong magbibigay ng ensentibo sa mga lady riders,
00:37pati na rin ang pagbibigay ng mga oportunidad sa mga batang karirista.
00:42Sa panayam ng PTB Sports kay AAP Head of Motorsports Ricky Dillaco,
00:47inilatag nito ang isang disipline na sisimulan na sa Pilipinas na bagay para sa mga young racers.
00:52Ang hakbang na ito ay para sa development ng mga kart racers ng bansa na nagsisimula sa murang edad.
00:59We are now introducing karting slalom for all ages.
01:05But particularly with karting slalom, it can be joined in by children.
01:10Karting slalom is very easy to set up and to run.
01:14They're actually doing more than just karting slalom.
01:17They're actually driving and being trained indoor environment in a proper kart track.
01:24So hindi lang slalom na isa-isa, but eventually itong mga batang ito,
01:30since they are being trained in an indoor karting facility, they actually race wheel-to-wheel.
01:36Bukod pa sa mga kid racers ay asam din ng AAP na mas lalo pang mapadami ang mga women in motorsports.
01:44Ayon kay Dillaco, nasa head, dalawang po ang active lady racers sa bansa.
01:48Kasama na dyan ang 2024 Rally Lady Champion na si Gabi Di Salis.
01:54Bukod pa sa mga kababaihan na nasa likod ng manibela,
01:58nagtalaga rin ang AAP ng dalawang lady representatives para sa mailalim sa FIA's steward training program
02:05na si Najil Elecanutan at Jeannie Jimenez.
02:07Not just the driver, but the official.
02:12Like I mentioned earlier, last season's FIA's steward program,
02:16we fielded two female trainee stewards,
02:19Jill Elecanutan and Jeannie Ang Jimenez.
02:22As far as the drivers are concerned,
02:23we already have quite a handful of female competitors in karting,
02:27in slalom, in rallycross and rally, in circuit racing.
02:31These women, we intend to incentivize, not just them,
02:38but other women who may be interested.
02:41It's just a matter of finding, marami yan eh, I'm sure marami yan.
02:44It's just a matter of finding and making it easy for them to come
02:48and get their feet wet in motorsports.
02:52Hopefully, we're gonna be seeing more and more of these women.
