00:04countries, which is what we were doing. We're subsidizing others' health care,
00:08countries where they paid a small fraction of what, for the same drug that what we pay
00:15many, many times more for, and will no longer tolerate profiteering and price gouging
00:20from Big Pharma. But again, it was really the countries that forced Big Pharma to do things
00:28that, frankly, I'm not sure they really felt comfortable doing. But they've gotten away
00:32with it, these countries. The European Union has been brutal, brutal.
00:36For years, pharmaceutical and drug companies have said that research and development costs
00:40were what they are. And for no reason whatsoever, they had to be borne by America alone. Not
00:50anymore, they don't. This means American patients were effectively subsidizing socialist health
00:56care systems in Germany, in all parts of the European Union. They were the toughest of
01:04all. They were nasty. And I see that. I see that with trade, too. European Union is, in
01:10many ways, nastier than China. Okay? And we've just started with them. Oh, they'll come down
01:18a lot. You watch.
