Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, President Trump was asked about a trade deal with the rest of Europe.

00:07We see a big revenues from the chart.

00:09But what's the rest of Europe?

00:11It's a victory day, but other European countries

00:14seems like they're losing their journey.

00:16The President Trump We intend to make a deal with Europe.

00:19We have found that the European Union treated us

00:22as extremely unfairly, very difficult,

00:25and hurt themselves in doing so.

00:27And they very much want to make a deal.

00:29We'll be dealing with them.

00:30We are dealing with them currently.

00:31So, that'll cover pretty much the rest of it.

00:35But this was separate because of Brexit, in particular.

00:38You know, this was a separate deal.

00:40It always seems so natural.

00:42I mean, all the media would say that this seemed to be like,

00:45why did this happen 25 years?

00:47Why didn't it happen a long time ago?

00:49And it was always amazing to me.

00:51Somebody would say, hey, we got to make a deal.

00:53We have to make a deal.

00:54But this deal just fell into place.

00:56The Prime Minister did a fantastic job.

00:58His representatives are total professionals,

01:01and they got along well.

01:02And it just seemed to work.

01:04And I think one of the reasons it did

01:06is because we blew up the whole system.

01:08If we would have just been dealing with you separately

01:10or, you know, country by country, we didn't.

01:13We blew up the whole system.

01:14It was very fair to the United — very unfair to the United States.

01:17And I think because of that, this worked out so nicely.

01:21And I'm honored that it was the first deal.
