Elgin City manager Allan Hale believes his team's two-goal deficit in the play-offs can be overcome at Annan Athletic.

00:00Look, I thought the players were in everything, everything in the game, you know, to get that third goal.

00:05It would have made it really interesting in the tie, but it's only, you know, a two-goal deficit.

00:11You know, you get an early goal and you just never know.

00:13So, you know, we've got to go down there in a positive frame of mind.

00:16We've got to go down there believing and we've got to go down there and give it our best shot, which we'll try and do.

00:19You know, we want to give ourselves the best possible opportunity.

00:23We don't believe the tie's over.

00:25I believe in the squad and, yeah, we'll just wait and see.

00:30But hopefully.

00:30You've spoken about the fighting spirit, yeah, in recent weeks.

00:33And the fighting spirit just to get to this point has been immense for the team.

00:36So that will be vital again this weekend.

00:38Yeah, look, I think, you know, if there's one team that can turn around a two-goal deficit, it's this Elgin City team.

00:44I think, you know, we've got a lot of qualities on this side.

00:47You know, we're maybe didn't quite show at moments in the game, but I thought second half we were much more like ourselves.

00:52I just, you know, there's certain things that we want to improve in the performance, which we'll make the players aware of in the next few days.

00:58But, yeah, when you were up against a good team, you know, we're really frustrated with the goals that we've given away.

01:04But we're much more solid and much more, I thought, assertive of our shape in the second half, which is a positive.

01:13And hopefully we can take that second half performance on Saturday.
