00:09But now China-based smartphone manufacturer Realme might put an end to that forever with this.

00:14A phone they say can charge from 0% to 100% in just 9 minutes.

00:19They're calling the phone the GT3, and they say it's the world's fastest charging smartphone ever.

00:24It was recently shown off at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, amid myriad other tech innovations.

00:29Okay, so 9 minutes is pretty good.

00:31But here's what Realme's product communication manager says, it can do with even less.

00:3630 seconds is all it takes to get you out of a squeeze and keep you going without disrupting your flow.

00:42A 2-hour 5G call, 3 and a half hours of music, 40 minutes of video streaming, 25 minutes of gaming, a TV episode.

00:53Any of these can come from just 30 seconds of charge.

00:57And apparently, it can do this over and over again.

01:00The battery is reportedly ultra-long lasting, able to retain 80% of its charging capacity through 1,600 charging cycles.
