00:00Ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough.
00:07It's that time of year when the world's biggest actors, musicians, and athletes take to New York to put that sh** on.
00:13Last night was the Met Gala 2025.
00:16We have you a recap of all the best looks from this year's gala.
00:19Held at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art,
00:22this year's theme was a celebration of Black Dandyism called Superfine Tailoring Black Style.
00:27Inspired by Monica L. Miller's 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion, Black Dandyism, and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
00:34Dandyism is about individuality.
00:36Excellence.
00:37Freedom.
00:37Wit.
00:38Elegance.
00:39It is tailoring.
00:40It's a frequency.
00:41Dandyism to me is really about expression, Black expression.
00:45Dandyism means confidence to me.
00:48Somebody that celebrates living in a one-of-a-kind body and tailors everything to that body.
00:53The official dress code is tailored for you, and this year's Met Gala attendees understood the assignment because they showed up and showed out.
01:01There were so many fire looks from last night's event, we aren't even going to try and say who was best dressed,
01:06but we are going to show you some of the looks of folks who just ate on that carpet.
01:10Kicking it off with the Met Gala's 2025 co-chairs, rapper A$AP Rocky, producer Pharrell Williams, race car driver Lewis Hamilton, and Oscar nominee Coleman Domingo.
01:20Each brother offered their own interpretation with A$AP Rocky wearing his own AWGE design that featured a slick double-breasted technical wool jacket inspired by the outdoorsy marmot jackets that he would see around Harlem growing up.
01:32Bad Bunny gave us Harlem meets Puerto Rico with a custom fit by Prada that included a Pava hat that pays tribute to its Puerto Rican culture.
01:39Rihanna, showing off her latest baby bump, walked the carpet in an awl Marc Jacobs look.
01:44Dolce wore Louis V shorts with a formal tailcoat inspired by the pattern design made famous by living icon Harlem designer Dapper Dan.
01:51Speaking of Louis V, Zendaya walked the carpet in an all-white Louis Vuitton look inspired by Diana Ross.
01:57Sabrina Carpenter stunned in a pantless crimson jumpsuit.
02:01Our favorite Brad Charlie XCX took a break from tour to step out in an all-black Stefano Galissi,
02:06with her look being the first time anyone has ever worn a Belgian fit to the gala.
02:10Tyla and Chaperone absolutely slayed.
02:14Some of our favorite K-pop stars from Lisa to Ginny to Rosé to our man S. Koops popped out and had us all screaming.
02:22Sidney Sweeney kept things looking elegant in a dress inspired by 1960s actress Kim Novak.
02:27Cardi B, Tiana Taylor, and Doja Cat all turned heads.
02:32There were too many looks, but we can't get to them all.
02:34But before we go, we have to leave y'all with Andre Threestack showing up with a literal grand piano on his back.
02:40Talk about music meaning fashion.
02:43If you could describe me a look with one song, what would it be?
02:46Hotel Lobby Piano.
02:48Okay, thank you.
