00:05:01Just like last week, the future greats will have one last chance to defend their LFG lives to their legends.

00:06:02I love that throughout this whole process, you two have created some sort of bond, whether you guys because we're on the same team and a real friendship.

00:06:22We both know I have some of the highest upside of anybody in this competition.

00:06:55That's why I'm always smiling, so I'm always happy because I'm just thankful.

00:09:32This whole process has shown me like the things that make you stick out is what you believe is right and being bold enough to step out there and do those things.

00:09:43It's like it's okay to be different.
00:09:44It's okay to express yourself.
00:09:46Keep maximizing that.
00:09:47Maximize my strengths.
00:09:48And continue to work on my weaknesses.
00:09:50I think for me like coming in, I knew a lot of moves and stuff.
00:09:54I think I could have gone out and executed whatever match and done the moves right.
00:09:58But I think figuring out how to add more to it.
00:10:02Like how to add a little bit of character, a little bit of personality, really let that emotion come out.
00:10:08Ultimately what it was is just like letting that intensity come out in the matches and how much that can add to the match as a whole.
00:10:14It's not just about hitting the moves right.
00:10:16It's about adding that like motion.

00:13:24It lost a heartbeat in the womb and they had to emergency rush her to surgery to do a C-section.
00:13:33Going in there day after day after day, my wife is so, so dedicated to our child.
00:13:46I'm just thankful for today that we're in a much better position.
00:13:54And I felt like, you know, in that moment, he just discredited it all.
00:13:59Like, as if I just gave up, as if I quit and turned my back on everybody.
00:14:06After the interviews, the future greats have left the legends with a lot to think about.

00:14:16And kicking us off is Chris Island against Troy Yearwood.
00:14:22He is my teammate and we are gonna work very well together, but I'm gonna outshine him of what I do, myself, my work.
00:14:28And he's gonna try to outshine me and that's what Brotherhood is all about.

00:15:52Team Mickey, she had a tough decision to make.
00:15:54Choosing Danny Sikalski over Serena Linton tonight.
00:15:58She's gonna have to choose between Chris Island or Troy Erwin.
00:16:01Both these two not giving up an inch, but when we talk about Chris Island, still relatively new to the performance center.
00:16:07High energy, a lot of potential when he steps through those ropes.

00:16:23Is Yearwood, and back to a little bit of a stalemate between these two.
00:16:29For Yearwood, did have a bit of a breakout last weekend, or two weeks ago in the tag team matches with his partner, Chris Island.
00:16:37And that's what's so unique about this pairing.
00:16:38They were just partners two weeks ago here on LFG.
00:16:41Well, as we mentioned before, you know, this is a team sport with individual outcomes.
00:16:46And one of these students will go home and give them this process.

00:17:02I wanted to give Troy a challenge of seeing him as a heel to see if that would bring up

00:17:10Now that is a great challenge, but another challenge, going back to that teammate aspect,
00:17:14is these are two individuals who have got a strong bond even outside of the performance center,
00:17:21but they know that only one can win that contract. One could be maybe that next NXT superstar.
00:17:28So this is part of the mental game of what happens inside the squared circle.
00:17:33Well, when you're an athlete that succeeded and has gone as far as these two have,
00:17:37there is a competitive nature to you that is unavoidable.
00:17:40Knowing that one person will go on, one will go home, no matter how good the friendship is,
00:17:45the bond, the times you have outside the ring together, whatever it is,
00:17:49it comes to an end because at the end of the day, one will advance, one will go home.
00:17:53And that will drastically change the trajectory of their careers.

00:17:59He's had his run-ins with other athletes in LFG, such as Jasper Troy,

00:18:33There's a leaderboard of different feats of strength inside the Performance Center.
00:18:37Troy Yearwood's name is on nine of the 13 of those accolades on that wall right now.
00:18:43But when you look at it a little bit deeper, J.B., I mean, is he a perfect example about how professional wrestling is more than just moves?

00:18:53It's about a presentation.

00:18:55Dare say, Troy Yearwood's probably showing more character now than he has throughout the course of this journey.

00:19:11And again, when we're in this stage of the game, playoff atmosphere, every little detail, every little slip, it's magnified in these moments.

00:45:11And sometimes that animosity brings out the best.
00:45:14That competition aspect brings out the best in each opponent you have.
00:45:18And if Jasper Troy generally has a disliking of Anthony Luke and vice versa,
00:45:23maybe they can use that, channel that energy to have a great performance here in the finals.
