00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is taking action after recent deadly accidents at Naya Terminal 1 and Essitex.

00:07He ordered reforms to improve transportation safety, including reviewing driver's licensing,

00:12auditing bus operators, and addressing unsafe labor practices.

00:17An investigation into defective ballards at Naya is also underway.

00:21In the meantime, Malacan Young emphasized the need for the mandated drug testing for public utility vehicle drivers

00:27to ensure the safety of both passengers and drivers and to avoid similar incidences in the future.

00:33The chief executive also emphasized justice for victims and the importance of drug testing

00:38for public utility vehicle drivers while ensuring drivers' concerns are considered.
