Members of the public have been having their say over whether the royal family should reconcile with Prince Harry after an emotional BBC interview in which he sought to repair a fractured relationship.Reuters

00:00You know, he's gone to America, he's made his life over there, he's making lots of

00:04money out of media and books and so on. I don't necessarily think that's a reason

00:09not to speak to his father though, because I don't think his father's done anything

00:12wrong necessarily, so it just seems a shame that they can't all sort of make amends as

00:18a family.

00:19I feel like this should just all come together and, you know, be able to speak and it's

00:26kind of, you know, to me it feels like he's still part of that family, so at least from

00:32the American side we all see it that way, so they should be reconciling it.

00:37I feel literally nothing about that. It's so unimportant to me, if I'm being honest.

00:42I think it's sad when families break down and I think him and his brother were very

00:46close growing up, they went through a really tragic time when his mother died and I think

00:52they were good mates and I think unfortunately all of what's happened has just split everybody, hasn't it?

00:59I have, I'm indifferent, completely indifferent. I really don't care what Harry does. He's

01:05like a person I've never met, not interested in him or the King, so that's kind of it in

01:10a nutshell.

01:11You know, their children will probably want to still be friends with their, you know, their

01:14cousins and why should that all be broken down because of other generations' issues.
