00:05karma, and rebirth. Today I am going to talk about the relationship between karma and rebirth.
00:11Earlier in Sharing 1, I talked about doing good and good will return, doing bad and bad will
00:17return. And we are reborn based on the past action that we have made. And based on this relationship,
00:23we face the cycle of rebirth, old age, illnesses, and death. And throughout the cycle,
00:31we don't have much control over it. We can't control when and where we should be born or pass
00:36away. And to make things worse, we can't remember most of what we already learned, and that is we
00:42must always do good. Therefore, in the next life, we might meet someone who will lead us to the wrong
00:48path, doing bad and creating bad karma. And if we think about this rebirth cycle,
00:54it is nothing more than repeating blessings and curses. When you are blessed, you get extreme
01:00happiness like having a loving family and luxuries lifestyle. But when you are cursed, you experience
01:06pain, hunger, abuse, anger, war, betrayer, sadness, accident, death, natural disasters, stress, diseases,
01:17fatigue, so many. So why do we want to keep this cycle from repeating? Why not in this life,
01:23we end the rebirth cycle? Because in the next life, we might not have the opportunity to have
01:28someone telling us all these. In the next sharing, I will be talking about the various realms after death.
