00:01I've checked out about three or four across the centre of the city.

00:04Everything's going smoothly. There's no aggro on the booth, which is always good.

00:08People are campaigning in a true spirit.

00:10Very happy reception from people and looking forward to a good result.

00:14And we've seen, both anecdotally and from our own eyes,

00:17that there's fewer people voting on Election Day.

00:20Is that what you saw?

00:22Yeah, very much so. I think we got up to about 53% of people in pre-polled,

00:26so numbers are down on the day, but there's still some cues.

00:28But the electoral commission staff is pretty efficient.

00:31You don't wait too long, and people came through and voted.

00:34And Alison has a fairly big majority or big margin here.

00:38How confident are you that she'll be returned here?

00:42Completely confident that Alison will be returned here.

00:44She's worked hard over the three years,

00:46getting some name recognition as a first-term candidate.

00:49I think she's done a good job for the region.

00:51Any tips I think when you'll get the announcement?

00:54For Cunningham?

00:55Look, I'd imagine about 7.30 at the latest.

00:59Maybe a bit earlier, but you never know these things.

01:02They will be counting a batch of those pre-polls tonight

01:04and also a sample batch of about, I'm told, about 2,000 postals.

01:09So it might take a while to get some of those big birds in.

01:11So maybe 7.30.
