Sherfane Rutherford did not make the final 11, but his side Gujarat Titans hammered Sunrisers Hyderabad by 38 runs on Friday.

Gujarat posted 224 for 6, with captain Shubman Gill scoring 76 and Jos Buttler 64.

In reply, the Sunrisers were restricted to 186 for 6, with Abhishek Sharma scoring 74 in vain, putting them on the brink of elimination.
