Canadian MP Jamil Jivani has asked U.S Vice President JD Vance to not to come to Canada as the relations between the 2 neighbours deteriorate following Trump’s anti-Canada rhetoric and ‘51st state’ jibe. This marks a u-turn from Jivani’s earlier open invite to his law school friend Vance to open Canada. Jivani said that Trump’ anti-Canada rhetoric was problematic and that his country deserves more respect before a visit by any high-ranking U.S. official is allowed.
