Incy Wincy Spider climbed a leafy tree,
Hopping past the mushrooms, happy as can be.
He waved at Mr. Beetle and a butterfly or two,
Then spotted Baby Caterpillar munching on some dew.
The wind began to whisper, it rustled every leaf,
A swooshy breeze came spinning by and gave our friend a briefâŠ
WHOOSH! Down he floated gently, twirling as he fell,
Landing on a mushroom cap that bounced him like a shell!
Incy shook his spinnerets and gave a cheerful cheer,
âIâm not afraid of wind,â he said, âmy webâs still very near!â
So up again he started, crawling branch to branch,
Past the singing crickets and a snoozing little ant.
He reached a leafy treetop, where sunlight touched his thread,
He spun a silver web so bright, above a flower bed.
The bugs all gathered âround to see his dancing feet,
As Incy Wincy Spider made the forest day complete.
