00:00At Dylan's Ice Cream, we've increased our prices 50p in ice cream in the last week.

00:05That's in response to the crazy cost of ingredients we've been paying.

00:09The worst offender is chocolate at the moment.

00:11I believe chocolate going up 230%, cocoa powder 140% in the last two years since we've got our prices up.

00:21Two years ago, it would cost us 41p to make over the chocolate ice cream.

00:24Today, it costs 96p. That's mainly due to the crazy rise in prices of chocolate and cocoa, which goes into all our chocolate ice creams.

00:33March sales were the best we've ever had.

00:34We had record sales in the shop, but at the end of the month, when we came to look at how we're done,

00:39we hadn't really made any money due to the cost of making all our ice creams, which was, I mean, really sad.

00:45And is that why you've led to a price increase across both your stores?

00:49Yeah, so that meant we had to look at the prices we were selling the ice cream at,

00:53and we've risen the price of our ice cream by 50p across all our shops.

00:57And response has been quite good with that.

00:59The response to the customers have been lovely.

01:01No one's said that bad things to say.

01:02They've been very understanding.

01:14Despite a rising cost, it seems that Dylan's Ice Cream remains as popular as ever,
