00:00The Department of Finance, or DOF, Secretary Ralph Recto stressed that no new implementation of taxes will happen in the Philippines.

00:08Recto clarified this after disinformation about the issue circulates on social media.

00:14According to the Finance Secretary, the Philippines does not need new taxes as it has strong and good fiscal position.

00:21The government is also managing the country's finances well, and they assured that it is providing the needs of the people.
