00:00elon very publicly has said he's against tariffs obviously he assembles parts so rather than
00:04manufacturing cars he assembles parts from all over the world doesn't he with tesla so um the
00:09tariffs hit him particularly hard well yes no but with all those kind of things where you have
00:15multi-national as you probably know with the multinational companies making parts for
00:23products which are then shipped worldwide and everything there are these various
00:30conditions that that the parts are moved about you know not not like simply you know move tax move
00:38tax move tax move tax they enter into a sort of these these parts enter into a a final you know sort
00:46of like that works you know sort of thing you know that's only at the end that because all the movement
00:54would be silly you know if you were you know if some part came from this country and moved to that
00:59country and it's terrible from another country you know it no it's it doesn't work like that with
01:04the international companies so they have um you know rules sensible rules that enable that to happen
01:14without you know accumulating masses of cross-country cross-border tariffs you know yeah it has to be like
01:22that and and obviously i mean that these things is very much a negotiating tool anyway and lots of
01:26trade deals seem to be uh being done uh as a result of it
