00:00In Starlight, amateur and semi-professional singers will have the unique opportunity to rise, literally, from the shadow to the spotlight.

00:11The first series of this brand new primetime singing competition aired on 2M in Morocco and immediately became a huge success.

00:20In the first phase, the auditions, the contestants will sing in front of a jury made up of 5 of the country's best professional singers.

00:37But at the beginning of the song, they are in the shadows.

00:50Each time one of the jury members is convinced by the contestant's voice, he presses the light triangle in front of him.

00:58This activates a spotlight on the set, revealing a little bit of the contestant's body.

01:04After the fourth spotlight, we discover the contestant's face.

01:10He has stepped into the light and now has a chance to go to the next round.

01:16But if he receives 5 spotlights, he directly qualifies for the next phase.

01:28The face-to-face.

01:33In this second phase, the contestants will have to battle it out against each other and steal the light from their opponent.

01:40The jury members will then vote to choose which contestant deserves their life.

01:52Only the best of the best will make it out of the semifinal and into the finale,

01:57where they will have the opportunity to convince the nation by singing their favorite songs and amazing scenery.
