00:03Today, we've got some important news about Samsung's latest One UI 7 update,

00:08and unfortunately, it's not all positive. So let's get straight into it.

00:14Samsung has officially started rolling out its One UI 7 update this month across Galaxy devices,

00:20and it's bringing some pretty cool features. We're talking smoother animations, smarter AI

00:26tools, and tighter security, all of which sound amazing. But there's a big issue that's been

00:32bothering a lot of users. Galaxy S24 and S25 users have started facing a major problem,

00:39noticeable battery drain after installing the update. It's become a hot topic, and people are

00:45seriously wondering if this update is actually helping or just making things worse. The April

00:512025 update was supposed to enhance performance and user experience. However, many Galaxy S24 Ultra

00:58and S25 Ultra owners are reporting that their battery life has significantly dropped after updating.

01:05Take one user, Robin, for example. He mentioned that after updating his S25 Ultra,

01:11the battery performance went down by about 20%. He even posted about it on X, formerly Twitter,

01:18asking if others were having the same issue, and the replies came pouring in. Turns out,

01:24a lot of people are in the same boat. Across social platforms, users are expressing their frustration.

01:31One Galaxy S24 Ultra user said, earlier I'd only charge my phone once a day. Now I have to charge it

01:38two or even three times. Another user pointed out that while the update brought some improvements

01:43in design and AI features, the battery took a big hit. And it's not just a few people.

01:50One S24 user shared, after I updated to One UI 7.0, my battery just started draining like crazy.

01:58Even the Galaxy S24 Fan Edition isn't immune. Someone commented, ever since the April update,

02:05my battery drains super fast. What's more frustrating is that Samsung hasn't released any official response

02:12yet about these battery issues. However, users are being advised to report the problem through the

02:17Samsung members' app. The more reports they get, the faster they might be able to figure out a fix.

02:24Personally, I've noticed the same thing on my own Galaxy S24 Ultra. Before the update,

02:31I could easily go the whole day without worrying about charging. But now, I find myself reaching for

02:37the charger by late afternoon, and I haven't changed how I use the phone at all. It's definitely
