00:00Hey Vision Tech fans, welcome back to the channel.
00:03Today we're talking about the new OnePlus 13T,
00:06a compact flagship phone that's packed with powerful features.
00:11It's not just about high performance.
00:13This phone also introduces smoother animations with ColorOS 15
00:17and a super useful AI shortcut button that makes multitasking much easier.
00:22Starting off with the design, the OnePlus 13T comes in two eye-catching colors, pink and gray.
00:28Both versions have a new coral velvet glass finish that feels soft and slightly grippy,
00:34making it comfortable to hold even without a case.
00:38Unlike regular frosted glass, this finish feels premium and doesn't slip easily,
00:43even when your hands get sweaty in the summer.
00:46The sides of the phone are made of metal,
00:48and the matte finish on the camera module adds a refined touch.
00:52It's not flashy or over-designed, just a clean, minimal look.
00:56Fingerprints don't stick much either, except a little around the screen and camera,
01:01which helps keep it looking neat without constant wiping.
01:05When it comes to size, the OnePlus 13T weighs about 185 grams and is 8.16mm thick.
01:13It's not the thinnest phone out there, but it holds a massive 6060mAh battery,
01:18which is a big deal.
01:19The 6.32-inch flat screen and a width of just 71.7mm make it super comfortable for one-handed use.
01:29If you compare it with the iPhone 16 Pro, which also has a 6.3-inch display and a 71.5mm width,
01:37they feel very similar in hand.
01:39Most phones around 77mm wide feel a bit unstable in one hand,
01:44but this one feels well-balanced and secure.
01:47The camera bump is also kept minimal, only 2.15mm thick and covering about 7.5% of the back,
01:55so it doesn't press into your fingers when you're holding it or gaming in landscape mode.
02:00These small touches really add to the comfort.
02:03The screen itself is bright and easy to see, even in direct sunlight.
02:07It reaches over 800 nits and features solar display tech, so outdoor visibility is solid.
02:13For eye comfort, it comes with full brightness DC dimming and eye protection 2.0,
02:19a nice bonus if you spend a lot of time looking at your phone.
02:23Now, the reason behind the slightly heavier and thicker design is the big 6060mAh battery.
02:30Compact flagships usually suffer from weak battery life, but OnePlus seems to have solved that issue.
02:37In a 5-hour heavy use test, the phone still had 46% battery remaining.
02:42That's pretty impressive.
02:44And when it comes to charging, it supports 80W wired charging,
02:49reaching 56% in just 25 minutes and hitting full charge in about 62 minutes.
02:55Performance-wise, the OnePlus 13T is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite processor.
03:02It also includes a 4,400mm2 Glacier VC cooling system with high thermal connectivity graphite material
03:10to keep things cool.
03:11Plus, there's OnePlus's own gaming engine called Fenshi, designed to enhance your gaming experience.
03:18We ran some tests with Genshin Impact at 200 nits brightness in a room set to 25 degrees Celsius.
03:25The phone delivered an average of 60.3 FPS while using just 4W of power, smooth performance with low power usage.
03:33Honkai, StarRail also ran well, averaging around 58.5 FPS and 5.6W usage, with only minor dips.
03:43In PUBG Mobile, it achieved an impressive 89.9 FPS at just 3.3W, top-tier performance for a compact device.
03:53OnePlus has also fine-tuned the gaming experience with some cool new touches.
03:57There's a, silent start, feature that automatically mutes games when you open them.
04:03Perfect for avoiding loud sounds in quiet places.
04:07Want the sound back?
04:08Just tap the volume key.
04:10And there's a new game camera feature that can either record the last 30 seconds or snap a quick 3-second live photo.
04:17Perfect for capturing those awesome in-game moments.
04:20On the camera front, the OnePlus 13T features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS and a 49-millimeter equivalent telephoto lens that supports 4x lossless zoom.
04:34The updated image processing also enhances portrait shots, with Portrait Mode 4.0 adding a cinematic or soft light effect to your photos.
04:43It runs on ColorOS 15, which feels smoother and more responsive.
04:48The UI includes a flexible task manager, resizable desktop folders, and better overall animation.
04:56The highlight feature is definitely the AI shortcut button.
04:59It can summarize what's on your screen, turn on do not disturb, flashlight, silent mode, and more, it's far more useful than the classic alert slider.
05:08The OnePlus 13T is priced at just 3,399 yen in China, which is around Β£350 in the UK or $466 in the US.
05:20For everything it offers, strong battery life, top-tier performance, premium build, and intelligent software, it's a solid value for the price.
05:30That wraps it up for our look at the OnePlus 13T.
