00:00I find it was a little slow but I think they're just being a little more careful this time around
00:04because you know things are in the air but nevertheless I'm proud of the ABC this morning
00:09and people are being allowed to exercise their franchise, their constitutional right
00:14and I trust that the process will be fair and smooth when time to check balance.
00:21How long were you inside?
00:23Well that's what I was saying, I was pretty long.
00:25Normally last time I came here, in five minutes time I came out, this time I took 15 minutes.
00:31So that's why I emphasize that they are being very cautious in what they're doing.
00:36Very very careful, yeah.
00:38So it's very commendable.
00:39Okay great.
00:40What brings you out of vote this year?
00:42Well it's my constitutional right.
00:44I mean the good thing about Trinidad and Tobago, we exchange, we change government not by the ballot and not by the bulletin.
00:51That is something we need to commend our citizens for.
00:53We have always had smooth elections and I pray that we continue to have smooth elections.
00:59No matter who we are, we are all citizens of the country.
01:02We are all red, white and black at the end of the day.
01:05Guided on how to take and hold the paper and what to do and it wasn't bad.
01:11Are you a regular voter?
01:12Yes I am.
01:13What brought you out of vote today?
01:15Any particular issue or concern?
01:17Concern for my country and to exercise the privilege that I've given to vote at this time in my life.
01:28Thank God, praise God.
01:29How long have you been voting?
01:30Oh boy, it's about 18, I'm 85 now.
01:36You never missed an election.
01:38Oh, no.
01:40How was the process for you this morning?
01:42How long were you inside?
01:43Not too long, you know.
01:45I think I just spent about, I said about, you didn't listen to 10 minutes inside.
01:50Not too bad.
01:50It wasn't bad at all.
01:53Very smooth.
01:54Smoothly.
01:55Everybody said nobody would be able to know what they were doing.
02:01Yeah?
02:02How was the experience for you today?
02:04Oh, it was trouble free, no incidents and quick, which was important.
02:11And what brought you out of vote today?
02:12You know, people vote for a myriad number of reasons.
02:15We have a sense of civic duty and we all can make a difference, you know.
02:20And that's it, really.
02:21What is the outcome that you're hoping for without naming any political party?
02:26Whatever is best for Trinidad and Tobago.
