00:00I absolutely agree with the PAP government that we should not erode our competitiveness.
00:10And I think the kind of tax ecosystem we have or choose to adopt go towards ensuring that.
00:19I think taxes are a key source of revenue and there is no denying that we need to look
00:26at taxation and how it's implemented and at which level there are no questions about that.
00:34But it's important to ask who these taxes are aimed at.
00:39There is a perception that it is aimed more at the ordinary Singaporeans than at the wealthy,
00:47the billionaire class, the big companies, wealth is not taxed enough.
00:52So those are the things that we are calling attention to in this election.
00:59People are looking at that and that to us is very important.
