Sheffield Wednesday youth team player Harris appears on 'The Piano'

Harris may only be 17 years old but he's mastering a variety of skills, representing Sheffield Wednesday in the youth team and becoming an accomplished pianist. He appears in Channel 4's 'The Piano' season 3, episode 3, airing at 9pm on April 27.   Footage courtesy of Channel 4.

00:16When did you start playing?

00:17I started playing when I was 10.

00:19So it's been about seven years.

00:20And as well as your penis, you're a football player?

00:22Yeah, Sheffield Wednesday.

00:27Last year, I finished school.

00:28I did all right on my GCSEs, sixes, a nine in music.

00:32Then I moved on to my scholarship at Sheffield Wednesday.

00:35I barely even had the summer break.

00:36Everyone was going on summer holidays.

00:38But I was straight in for pre-season.

00:39So, yeah, that's what you got to do.

00:42My whole family's been fans of Sheffield Wednesday.

00:45My granddad used to go to the matches back in the day

00:47at Hillsborough.

00:48So that's why it's a special place to me.

00:50My granddad couldn't be there to see me get the scholarship

00:53because he passed in October of 2022.

00:56It's a shame he couldn't be there in the physical.

00:59Yeah.

01:00So he's a big part of my motivation.

01:02If I'm not on it in training,

01:03that's what I got to keep reminding myself of

01:05to keep pushing for him.

01:07If I could make it pro, first team debut,

01:10that's just, that's special, yeah.
