00:01Mike, what are you hearing around this situation?

00:03All right, so BC gets their guy off the board,

00:06and he goes to Dallas.

00:08We talked a lot about how Azaraku could be a first-round pick.

00:11Kevin has tracked it all throughout.

00:13His market was expected to be a first-round player to be selected.

00:18But what we'd say about Azaraku is that very productive in college.

00:22He does not have the eye-popping traits that guys like a James Pierce did

00:26that is drafted in the first round.

00:28So I think Dallas, who really loves edge rushers, defensive ends,

00:32those types of impact defensive players, is going to really like him,

00:35but he may not be comparable to some of the eye-popping plays

00:39that Micah Parsons makes.

00:40I would say this.

00:40He was widely around the NFL, expected to be a top-40 pick.

00:44So him going here makes sense.

00:46So why didn't he go in the first round?

00:47Not real big physically.

00:49Has some length, but he's not real strong physically,

00:51so that's a problem.

00:53Yes, he had 16.5 sacks, but when personal people graded him

00:58somewhere where it didn't take a lot of effort,

01:01not that he didn't put effort, but they weren't like big-time sacks.

01:04He's a good player.

01:06The Cowboys will get him in the rotation early.

01:08Remember, they lost to Marcus Lawrence and let him go.

01:10He signed with Seattle.

01:12Golston, who was their top backup edges, he's gone.

01:15He signed with the Giants.

01:16So they had a need here.

01:18I get that part of it.

01:19No question about it.

01:20They needed another edge rusher, a young developmental guy.

01:22This is a good spot for him.

01:23Not a lot of pressure.

01:25We'll get the Parsons deal done.

01:26Jerry always waits, as we know, Mike.

01:29They'll take care of that closer to training camp,

01:30but the bottom line is here, they get a really good value here,

01:33and by the way, he's a super high-character guy,

01:35which you know being a beastie guy.

01:36Yeah, absolutely.

01:37So, Kev, they don't really go for the splashy trades

01:40or maybe the biggest-named players in this draft,

01:43but Dallas, so far, another solid addition.

01:46Absolutely there, Mike.

01:47I think we go back to round number one,

01:49and just through the market,

01:50I was tempted on some Dallas defensive line bets

01:54because they, to me, truly are the kings of BPA.

01:57So, there is a party that wonders if Mikel Williams

02:01had been available at 12, went pick 11.

02:04Could that have been the selection?

02:06I think Dallas probably feels even better

02:09about the Tyler Booker pick now at 12,

02:12knowing they got what, again, a lot of people believe

02:15is a round one quality player at pick 44 in Donovan Ezraku.

02:19Yeah, 6'3", 248,

02:20and think about Dallas' defense over the past couple of years, right?

02:24They wore down, especially in run support.

02:26You have a dynamic player in terms of Micah Parsons,

02:28but he can't be a one-man wrecking crew.

02:30You need complementary pieces,

02:33and Ezraku's a player with huge upside, right?

02:36You talk about a guy that comes off the edge.

02:38I think he's good and much better in run support.

02:41We'll see how it pans out with Dallas,

02:42but again, you get a quality guy with a high-end motor,

02:45and he could still maybe add some size.

02:48Dallas needs all the help they can.

02:50I know they need wide receiver help.

02:52You could worry about the offense in the later rounds.

02:54Worry about the defense,

02:55because that's why they didn't make the playoffs last year.
