00:00All right, so Lindsay, a lot going on here on the 7-15 second date update.

00:04She went out with Garrett.

00:05She's been on a couple dates with him, she said.

00:07The second date, they went to Rock and Brew.

00:09Had a great time there and actually ended up going back to his house after dinner,

00:14which is obviously a good sign.

00:16Things are going in the right direction.

00:17Didn't stay over.

00:18Nothing else like that happened, but they did spend some time together,

00:21and she thought it went well.

00:23And after getting home, she reached back out to him.

00:27A couple days later, nothing back.

00:29So we're not really sure what's going on.

00:30Well, and they're following each other on social media, and she talked about it.

00:34So I was like, maybe she posted something that didn't sit well with him,

00:37but she's like, no, all I did was went hiking.

00:39I haven't really posted anything.

00:40I posted a picture of me on a hike.

00:41Yeah.

00:41I said, that's got to be it.

00:43No, but anyway, we actually have Garrett on the phone with us right now.

00:45I'm going to bring him back on with us.

00:48He agreed to talk to us.

00:49Garrett?

00:50Hey, what's up, guys?

00:51Hey, man.

00:52Hey, listen.

00:53We know this is a little confusing probably,

00:55but we wanted to talk to you about this girl, Lindsay.

00:57I think Kevin, our producer, told you that.

01:00We heard you guys went on a couple dates.

01:02You guys went to Rock and Brew the most recent date,

01:05and then she kind of came over to your house afterwards,

01:07and you guys hung out.

01:08She has not heard anything from you,

01:10and she's just really confused because it kind of seems like it was adding up

01:13for you guys to hang out again, and now you guys haven't.

01:15So what's up?

01:17Yeah.

01:17Where do I even start with this?

01:21We're on a date, I guess.

01:24It was more like an interrogation or an interview for a job

01:28because all she kept doing was asking me questions about what I do,

01:32what kind of car I drive, that kind of stuff.

01:38Okay, so she was getting to know you.

01:39No, this is not getting to know you.

01:41This is more like an investigation,

01:45like she was making sure I didn't commit the murder.

01:49Well, that's good that you didn't.

01:51Yeah.

01:52She starts asking me about my family and my parents, where I grew up.

01:56Do I have much contact with my family?

02:00What's the background of my family?

02:02I mean...

02:03I'm still not saying anything wrong with this.

02:05Look, to you guys, it may sound that way just because I'm saying it,

02:09but then we get to my place, and it got even weirder.

02:13And let me just say this.

02:14She pushed to go to my place.

02:16I didn't say, like, hey, come on over.

02:18You know, she's pushing to go to my place.

02:20I'm like, hey, this is going to work out real well.

02:24You didn't want to invite her over to your house?

02:27Well, this was her idea.

02:28You know what I'm saying?

02:29I'm on a date.

02:29I want to be with a woman.

02:31I'm happy she wants to be with me.

02:34Okay.

02:34And that's when it kind of hit the fan for me.

02:37We get there, and I think she thought it was an open house.

02:41She starts opening drawers, opening pantries, opening my refrigerator,

02:46my freezer, going through stuff, opening up closets.

02:49I'm like, what are you doing?

02:52Ah, she's snooping around.

02:53She's picking up mail.

02:54She's making sure my name is on the mail.

02:57Who does that in someone's house when you meet?

02:59What did you say to her?

03:01I'm like, what are you doing?

03:02This is not an open house.

03:03I'm not here to show you everything that's in my home.

03:07You know what I'm saying?

03:08And she's just acting like I'm not even saying anything to her and just continuing to give

03:13herself a tour of my house.

03:15Okay.

03:16Where did this lead to?

03:17Like, what happened at the end of the night?

03:19Did you kick her out?

03:20Well, we messed around a little bit.

03:22You know, we got familiar.

03:24I mean, after she found out that I'm not an ax murderer or anything in her mind.

03:28And what a gentleman to look past all this.

03:31Yeah.

03:32I mean, yeah.

03:33And then she starts telling me, you know, hey, let's follow each other on social media,

03:38which is double weird.

03:41You've been in my house.

03:42You've looked through my stuff.

03:43You've gone through the interview process.

03:45I've had like three interviews with you in one night.

03:47And now you want to see my social media and my Facebook pages.

03:51It was like an interrogation, man.

03:53I really felt like the next thing was going to be a lie detector test.

03:58All right.

03:59Well, listen, here's the deal, Garrett.

04:01We actually have Lindsay on the phone with us.

04:02I want to bring her back on.

04:04Awesome.

04:11All right, Lindsay.

04:12Oh, my goodness.

04:16First of all, I'm sorry that it sounded or seemed like I was investigating.

04:22But the truth of the matter is, I mean, there's some really shady characters out there.

04:26And I just, I don't mean to use the word investigate, but I did kind of want to scope everything out,

04:31make sure you were who you were and that you were saying.

04:34Since you were on the phone, you were on the phone with me.

04:37You heard everything that I said.

04:39Did any of that sound strange to you?

04:42Any of it?

04:42Well, no, no.

04:43Because if you have had the history that I've had where people have lied to me about their names and identities and things like that,

04:49I just, listen, there's some safety checks that I take every time now.

04:53And luckily, you passed.

04:54By opening up his drawers and closets?

04:56Well, but also, I mean...

04:57Listen, I want to make sure that you gave me your name and that that's the name on the address of the house you live.

05:03What if you were squatting in someone's house?

05:04You know, I don't know.

05:06He's a squatter!

05:07But the other thing is, you know, what's interesting is your line of thinking here, Lindsay,

05:11it kind of doesn't match up because why would you feel comfortable going to someone's house if you had all these reserves?

05:17Well, first of all, I know how to take care of myself.

05:21And I just need, I felt safe enough.

05:22Like I said, he was a real gentleman at dinner.

05:24If you felt that badly or that unsafe around me, why would you even come to my house?

05:31No, I'm saying I didn't.

05:32You passed.

05:32You totally checked all the initial, you know, safety checks.

05:36And then I felt fine enough to move on to your house and make sure that, you know, you are who you say you are.

05:41You know, all those things that women have to look out for now.

05:43These are real things.

05:44Well, let me ask you a question.

05:45I mean, congratulations on passing.

05:47But also, Garrett, you did say that you had a good time with her and you guys did mess around a little bit.

05:54Would you be willing to go back out with her?

05:57I mean, if Lindsey kind of like toned this back.

06:00Lindsey, you've got all your confirmation you need that he's a nice guy.

06:04Somehow I feel this would not be the end of this.
