00:04She went on a date with a guy named Joey who has tickets to the Lightning and they went to the Lightning game.

00:11Great first date. She said they went to dinner before, got to know each other a little bit,
00:15and the company was perfect in her mind, but has reached out since the date, hasn't heard anything.

00:53Well, hey, listen, we wanted to see if you had a couple minutes to talk to us.
00:55We actually are doing something called a 7-15 second date update.
00:59We talked to people about dates they go on, and there's a date we wanted to talk to you about,

01:05Well, not the typical response we usually get, that eager, but we appreciate it.
01:09Uh, we wanted to actually talk to you about Caitlin.
01:11I guess she's been reaching out since your guys' date.
01:13You guys went to the Lightning.
01:14Uh, I guess you had tickets to the game.
01:16And now, uh, she can't get a hold of you since then, and she really had a fun time with you.
01:20You know, at dinner, and then you drove her home afterwards, thought you were a gentleman.
01:24She's just really confused. We were hoping you could help us out.

01:28Yeah, she probably thought I was a gentleman because she kept using me the entire date.
01:33And, and yeah, no, I'm not, I don't plan on answering any of her calls.

01:40All right. It seems like you guys only have half the story.
01:43Well, fill us in.
01:44So when we first, like, started talking and stuff like that, I invited her out to dinner.
01:48And so I, uh, I had bought season tickets to the Tampa Bay Lightning game because I have like a lot of clients and it's really easy to kind of like smooth clients by, by taking them to a game.
01:57So I was like, Hey, do you want to go to a Lightning game after dinner?
02:01And she was like, yeah.
02:02And as we're sitting, we're enjoying the game.
02:04And then she says, Hey, I need you to go to use the bathroom.
02:07Is there anything I can get for you?
02:09And I was like, yeah.
02:09And I went ahead and handed her my credit card.
02:11And I was like, yeah, if you can just grab me a beer, if you want to grab yourself a beer, that'd be great.
02:15That'd be fine too.
02:15And so she comes back with like this $70 jersey on and she's like, Hey, I got this jersey.
02:21What do you think?
02:22And I'm like, Oh, it looks good.
02:23Thinking that like she had bought it like for her, with her own money.
02:26You know what I mean?
02:27Cause she didn't ask.
02:28And like, it's not that big of a deal, but like I went home and I checked my credit card statements and she had used my card to pay for the jersey without asking.
02:37Which I mean, it's not that I don't have the money for it.
02:41Like that's not the issue.
02:42It's just, there was no consideration there.
02:45You know what I mean?
02:45Yeah.
02:46You don't just use someone's credit card to buy whatever you want.
02:48Right.
02:49And so now like she's been hitting up my phone and every time that she hasn't been hitting me up about like any other date or going anywhere else.
02:56Every time there's a lightning game, it's like, Hey, so, um, so can I come to the lightning game with you?
03:00Or like, um, Hey, there's a lightning game going on tonight.
03:03You probably already know that cause you have the schedule, but like, um, but, um, I'll meet you up there.
03:07Like, like she's assuming that she's just invited.
03:11I bought these so that way I could start smoothing clients with it.
03:15And like, of course, like I want to take my bros, like I want to take some of my friends to these games.
03:19So like when it comes to looking for a partner, I'm looking for someone that I can build with.
03:25And I feel like she's just using me for what I have, not wanting to contribute anything to like, even on our first date, just not contributing anything and just assuming she can continue to use me off of that first invitation.
03:40And I, I'm not going to call her back.
03:43Um, do you think that maybe cause you said you had a couple of beers and you guys are drinking, maybe you accidentally invite, told her that she could come to more games and to hit you up.
03:54Did you, did that accidentally maybe be said?
03:57No, I had one beer.
04:01I understand like, you know, you feeling like someone's using you for your tickets or using you for your credit card.
04:07Apparently, uh, we actually have Caitlin on the phone with us.
04:09I want to bring her back on.
04:10Um, give me one second, uh, Caitlin.

04:15So did you buy a Jersey with his credit card?
04:19I mean, listen, Joey told me to have a good time.
04:21Like it's not a big deal.
04:22He can definitely afford it.
04:24I mean, yeah, I can afford it, but that was super inconsiderate to just not even ask.

04:29And the other thing Caitlin is, are you hitting him up only for, you know, kind of around game days?
04:33I mean, are you trying to invite yourself a little bit or.
04:37Yeah.
04:37I mean, he's going to, I know he's going anyway.
04:38Like he has those season tickets, like with the amazing seats.
04:41And we had so much fun.
04:43Like, why wouldn't he want to go again with me?

04:46Because like, sometimes I use that for business to take clients.
04:49And I mean, of course, like I want to take my friends.
04:52I want to take like my brother to go to games.
04:53Like I want to take my family to go to games.
04:55I have other people like friends and stuff.
04:56I want to take the games.
04:58Um, so you're going to take your friends and clients over your girlfriend.
05:01Like, I think that's kind of rude.

05:06We've only gone on one date.

05:24It was more about the inconsideration.
05:25But what you can do for me is you can get my number out of your phone and not contact me anymore.
05:32Yeah, Caitlin, I feel like you might have just too much too soon here.
05:36I mean, the whole other girlfriend thing is a deal.
05:38But like to buy a jersey with somebody's credit card without asking them.
05:41And then also like, you know, kind of assuming that you're always invited with the season tickets.
05:46I mean, that's a lot.
05:48I mean, you know, we went on this like wonderful, beautiful day and he told me to have a good time.
05:53So like, again, I don't see why it's such a big deal.

06:06So it doesn't look like we're going to be able to set up another date for you.
