00:00I have this video here I have to show you guys.
00:09It's a guy in a muscle car that fishtails, but you have to wait for the ending to see
00:17what happens to this dude here.
00:19This is up at DaveAndChuckTheFreak.com if you want to check it.
00:23That's old school.
00:24It's totally old school.
00:25He's trying to impress people, but it takes a bit of a turn here.
00:33Here he goes, backing up for the crowd.
00:40It's in rough shape, but it has a huge engine in it.
00:43Yeah, for sure it does.
00:46Was that like 1985?
00:48Uh-huh.
00:48So here he goes.
00:50He fishtails.
00:52Recovers.
00:53And he falls.
00:53Oh, no.
00:53He falls right out of the vehicle.
00:56I didn't expect that.
00:58Way to go, Leroy!
00:59The door opens and he falls out onto the road.
01:02Oh, is he okay?
01:03No.
01:04Take away his custom license plate.
01:06Wait, what?
01:08Um, where did his car end up, by the way?
01:10I don't know.
01:11It's still going.
01:12Looks like it's heading straight for the Ace Hardware.
01:16Like Kenny Powers or something.
01:17Yeah, whoa!
01:18No!
01:19Ouch!
01:20It was like Kenny Powers.
01:21Ouch!
01:25Oh, my bad!
01:27I don't worry about seatbelts.
01:29Or door locks.
01:31Oh, man.
01:31That door just flew open.
01:33That door flew open.
01:36It just broke, right?
01:38Oh, I watched this about ten times this morning.
01:39I was dying.
01:40You're like, yeah, look at this guy.
01:41Look out!
01:42Here I go!
01:43Look out!
01:43Oh, God!
01:44His hat and his glasses, I think, flew right off him.
01:47It looks like God ripped the door open and yanked him out of the car.
01:51Get out of there.
01:52That's enough of this.
01:54God, this is obnoxious.
01:55Pull him out.
01:57Boom!
01:58Hell!
02:02It's incredible to watch because it just seems like he's not very hurt.
02:06Look at his arm.
02:07I know.
02:08It didn't, I'll tell you, at least, it didn't keep the door from flying open.
02:12Watch his arm.
02:13Play it again and watch his arm.
02:17It does not stop.
02:19Yeah, I got this.
02:20Yeah, I am cool.
02:23I am cool as a cucumber.
02:26Look at all the hell.
02:27Oh, no.
02:27Oh, no.
02:29No, it did not stop it.
02:31It's like the second he took his arm off the door to try to correct the fishtail.
02:35It just flies right out like a vacuum cleaner.
02:38Dare I ask this question, has anyone listening fallen out of a moving car?
02:42Oh, wow.
02:42They have.
02:44They have.
02:45I think they have, Dave.
02:46Look, you see how good this show.
02:48There's Leroy.
02:48Leroy has.
02:491-855-954-6969.
02:52No tragedy, please.
02:531-855-954-6969.
02:56Light-hearted falling out of moving car stories.
02:57Right.
02:58Like Leroy.
02:59Yeah, like Leroy.
03:00It's fun.
03:00We don't know what happened, but it's the perfect name.
03:03Leroy.
03:03Well, that's his license plate.
03:05Yeah, he is.
03:06Amazing.
03:06Yeah.
03:07Paul is with us.
03:08Hi, Paul.
03:10Hey, how you doing?
03:10Good.
03:11Have you fallen out of a moving car?
03:13No, but I witnessed somebody.
03:15I was in a CVS parking lot, and an older gentleman fell out of a classic convertible car.
03:22Ended up jumping a curb and then went into a retention pond.
03:27Oh, wow.
03:28But he was out.
03:28He was in the parking lot.
03:30Well, actually, he was in the middle of the road.
03:32Oh, wow.
03:33Saw out the middle of the road.
03:34Oh, my God.
03:35Was he okay?
03:36My classic car!
03:37No, he was all right.
03:38He was okay.
03:40Oh, that would just...
03:41What happened?
03:42Do you know what happened?
03:43No, he went up to the retention pond and just looked like a sad puppy dog.
03:48No, but what?
03:49Like, how did he fall out of his classic car?
03:53The door just opened up, just like on the last one.
03:55Yeah, that's it.
03:56The door just opens up.
03:58The door just opens up sometimes.
03:59I mean, seatbelts.
04:01Yeah, that's it.
04:02Yeah, seatbelts.
04:02The seatbelt would have saved.
04:03You can be safe.
04:05Derek's in Louisville.
04:05Hi, Derek.
04:07How you doing, Dave?
04:07How y'all doing?
04:08We're doing all right, man.
04:09What happened to you?
04:11So, back when I was like six or seven years old, my mom and I was on our way to Walmart,
04:17and we was at a stoplight, and I always used to sit with my back to the passenger window
04:24in the front seat, and she was like, well, sit down before I get in trouble, turn around
04:28and face forward.
04:28I was like, okay.
04:29So, as she said that, the light turned green, and I was in mid-shift, and my belt loop grabbed
04:35a hold of the door handle, and I fell back.
04:39My head, I remember hitting the ground, and she reached over, grabbed a hold of my waistband,
04:43and pulled me back into the car while she was in mid-turn.
04:47Oh, my goodness.
04:48She's incredible.
04:49Yeah.
04:50That must have looked so badass happening in real life.
04:54Yeah, it was crazy.
04:56The people on the other side of crossing traffic, luckily, there's an older lady, as far as I
05:03can remember.
05:03She pulled up, because mom pulled into the McDonald Park lot, which is right in front of the Walmart,
05:07and she pulled up.
05:08She's like, oh, my God.
05:10Oh, we're losing you here.
05:11Oh, we're losing you.
05:11I'm so lucky that his belt loop got caught on the door handle.
05:15That's it.
05:15That's, yeah.
05:17Imagine dangling by your pants, hanging out of a moving car.
05:21I've dangled by my pants a couple different times in my life, mostly from a fence.
05:26But, you know.
05:28Um, someone said, driving down the road, upstate New York at night, Jeep Wrangler and soft top
05:34off.
05:35Mm-hmm.
05:35Deer jumped out from the driver's side, hit me as the driver.
05:41So the deer slammed right into him.
05:43Oh, yeah.
05:43Pushed him into the passenger seat, which pushed his buddy out onto the road.
05:49He gone.
05:50Yeah.
05:50My God.
05:52Weren't wearing seatbelts in that thing?
05:54Old school, maybe.
05:55Yeah, probably.
05:56Only evidence we had as to what happened was the deer hair all over the inside of the Jeep.
06:03Yeah, it's amazing.
06:04Like, the deer probably made it.
06:06Like, that deer was probably like, eh.
06:08Yeah.
06:08Hurt a little bit, but not too bad.
06:10Not too bad.
06:11He'd still walk.
06:12Meanwhile, you're in the passenger seat and the Jeep's still moving.
06:15Oh, yeah.
06:16You gotta go catch.
06:17Yeah, you gotta catch.
06:18Oh, no.
06:18You're right.
06:18He was in there.
06:20Oh, my God.
06:21That's terrifying.
06:22Yeah, it is.
06:22Because you gotta get control of the vehicle and hope your buddy's alive.
06:26There's like a 40% chance if I fell out of my Jeep just with it stopped, I would die.
06:32As it stopped?
06:34Yeah.
06:35It's so high.
06:36It's so high.
06:36I gotta jump up there.
06:38It's a step stool to get to this guy.
06:40And one more here.
06:42Uh, had an automotive teacher that had an old drag type car.
06:45We were hanging out at school one day.
06:46He took me for a spin when it was raining outside in the parking lot.
06:49Drifting was big at the time.
06:51Mm.
06:51Kind of like for Leroy here.
06:53Yeah.
06:53Uh, and he was like, I don't understand the big deal.
06:57As we drifted around the parking lot, his door swings open and he goes flying out.
07:03Oh, God.
07:03I was in the passenger seat as the car's still moving and crashed.
07:08Yeah.
07:09The police showed up and I went into hiding so he wouldn't get into trouble.
07:15Automotive teachers.
07:16They can be something else, let me tell you.
07:18Automotive and chop teachers, man.
07:20Oh, man.
07:20I missed out.
07:21I should have went in those.
07:22I missed out.
07:24They can definitely be something else.
07:25Yeah.
07:25Yeah.
07:25Oh, man.
07:28You know.
07:30I'm sorry.
07:33I missed out.
07:33I missed out.
07:38I missed out.
07:41I missed out.
07:46I missed out.
07:47And right.
07:51Here we go.
