00:57I know you've told it before, actually, on this show,

00:59but you're having a down time.

01:01You're kind of like, oh, man, what am I going to do here in Nashville?

01:04And then you're wearing a Taylor Swift shirt,

01:06and you get a little bit inspired by what?

01:08So I'm leaving work.

01:10I'm, like, about to throw in the towel, go home,

01:12and I happened to be wearing a Taylor Swift T-shirt that day.

01:16And she was driving by, and she saw me

01:19and pulled her car over to the side of the road

01:21and, like, jumped across her middle console

01:24into her passenger seat and was like,

01:25hey, I love your shirt.

01:27And you're like, oh, my gosh.

01:30Yeah, it was very weird.

01:31I was like, man, like, maybe I should stay.

01:33This doesn't happen all the time.

01:35Did she give you a chance to respond,

01:36or was it, like, one of those things, like, hey,

01:38and then just bailed out on you?

01:39No, well, I looked like a deer in headlights.

01:41Like, she was the one, she was like,

01:42you can come over here.

01:43I was like, oh, okay.

01:44Am I allowed to approach the vehicle?

01:49But, no, it was really awesome.

01:50I mean, it was, like, everything that I was needing that day

01:53to just keep going and not go home.

01:57Well, since then, now you've released a bunch of songs,

02:14Yeah, no, I actually wrote it

02:16with two of my really good friends

02:17well before I had a record deal.

02:20I probably wrote it four years ago.

02:24how everyone's got their bar that they go to,

02:27and it's always funny because it's just,

03:30I feel like my page is, like, full of dog videos

03:33and, like, house flips.

03:35Like, people redesigning their homes.

03:50What is the first thing you bought?

03:54Well, honestly, it took me a long time

03:56to even buy something

03:58because I just, I grew up not having money.

04:00So that was kind of just, I don't know, weird to me.

04:03And the first thing that, like,

04:05I really was like,

04:06I'm going to spend some money on was a car

04:08because my car, you know,

04:09was kind of held together by some duct tape.

04:12Well, that's good.

04:13What'd you buy?

04:14I finally went and bought a new used car.
