00:00Mrs. Maloney is, of course, a staunch ally of Ukraine and President Zelensky really standing by that country when other allies perhaps have been less supportive.
00:12Do you think she brings a message with her with regards to Ukraine as well?
00:16I think she will try. I'm not sure where she will rank that in terms of the priorities today.
00:22But I think, you know, she from the beginning, she was a staunch supporter of Ukraine and very much a critic of Russia.
00:30I don't think that's inconsistent with what President Trump thinks.
00:33In fact, if you look at President Trump's first term, he was very aggressive on Putin and Russia.
00:39The problem is it's, you know, that was then and this is now.
00:43And I think that he is really interested in stopping this war and, you know, ending the war.
00:48And so or at least stopping the killing. And so he's very much an anti-war president.
00:54So I'm not sure the timing is perfect. It's never perfect.
00:57But but I do think they can have a decent conversation about it.
01:00And I think, you know, that conversation is probably one that President Trump would not or could not have with other leadership in Western Europe.
