Trump Says He Will 'Always Protect The Second Amendment' After Being Asked About FSU Shooting

In the Oval Office, President Trump was asked about the Florida State University shooting.

00:08Following and amid that, is there any changes that you want to see to gun legislation?

00:12Anything you see broken with gun laws?

00:14Well, I'm going to have to say, look, I'm a big advocate of the Second Amendment.

00:17I have been from the beginning. I've protected it.

00:20And these things are terrible.

00:23But the gun doesn't do the shooting. The people do.

00:27It's, you know, a phrase that's used probably too often.

00:30I will tell you that it's a shame.

00:34I'm just hearing about it now. I just hear about it.

00:38I know the area very well. I know the school very well.

00:40I know everything about it. It's Florida.

00:43And we'll have more to say about it later. I have to see what happens.

00:48Only in terms of what happened.

00:50As far as legislation is concerned, this has been going on for a long time.
