Veteran bikers protest to defend Northern Ireland Legacy Act

Army veterans who served during the Northern Ireland Troubles have staged a protest in Whitehall. The group, many of whom are bikers, are appealing against the Labour government's plans to repeal the Legacy Act which could subject soldiers to potential prosecution decades on from the Troubles. 00:37prosecutions will continue. Up to now, every prosecution, every inquest has been against

00:45soldiers. No action and no major investigations have taken place of any terrorist from the

00:55IRA. Our veterans were sent there by our government, and I don't think they should be getting prosecuted.
