00:00I think it's important to remind everybody that the Ukraine war is a terrible thing,

00:24but it's not our war.

00:25We didn't start it.

00:26The United States has been helping Ukraine for over the last three years.

00:30And we want it to end.

00:32And so we've talked about outlines of both sides.

00:34I thought we had positive meetings yesterday.

00:36Obviously, the Ukrainians have to go back home.

00:38They have to run it by their president.

00:39They have to take into account their views on all of this.

00:43And we hope to hear back from them very soon.

00:45This is important, but there are a lot of other really important things going on

00:48that deserve just as much, if not more attention.

00:51What we're talking about here is avoiding thousands and thousands of people from dying over the next year.

00:55We're trying to avoid that.

00:57So if they're serious about peace, either side or both, we want to help.

01:01If it's not going to happen, then we're just going to move on.
