00:41of spider-man far from home we got the privilege starring spider-man yeah we got the privilege to
00:47check it out yes we did for anybody else so uh we're gonna tell you how it was and if you should
00:52waste your money on this this fourth of july weekend right you can't say should you waste your money on
00:56it you should imply it is imply it waste you will means that you're wasting it man it definitely
01:02won't be a waste but i'll go ahead tarik once you get into how you feel about the movie i mean i gave
01:06it a three out of ten uh no it it reminded me of that time the good times the musical yeah it was
01:13kind of the same thing no no no it was uh well at least they weren't singing and dancing like
01:18spider-man 3 right this is uh so spider-man is my favorite superhero yeah probably i would say my
01:23favorite superhero near and dear to me i thought the movie was good i think think it's something you
01:29should definitely spend your money on um i don't think it's at the level that we have come to expect
01:35from marvel i don't think it's as good as spider-man homecoming that's fair enough it's a natural
01:42comparison yeah um so uh i enjoyed the movie i some of the humor fell flat for me i know a lot of
01:50people were laughing in the theater and i was looking around like you know what are you guys
01:53laughing at like that was a 1983 laurel and hardy flashback honeymooners joke right there you guys
02:02are laughing at it okay i guess you know to each his own um but i thought it was overall a good film
02:09i think it's definitely worth a check um some great they do some great spider-man like moments
02:15in there okay um you know for me that's that's a big payoff yeah um some people who will name nameless
02:24were so hyped up by the you know mid-credit scene and the end scene that they oh i was hyped up by them
02:31yeah yeah yeah yeah well i didn't want to name you speaking about i like them but some other people
02:35were sitting with two were just so hyped by that that they bumped the movie up in their in their
02:40view i was not one of those people um but it's an enjoyable film i think this is the one is a lot
02:46more suited for kids well except for one part but we won't talk about that yeah a lot more suited for
02:52kids than anything else but this is not this is not winter soldier civil war in game infinity right it's
02:58ant-man okay fair enough fair enough um so what'd you give it a scale let's go scale of a five how
03:07about that three three solid three give it a three out of five okay yeah all right um
03:12i give it a four out of five and i'll tell you why uh just because i understand that the spider-man
03:21story that they're kind of trying to get to cop out okay yeah cop out i um you know what i gotta say
03:27i know the source material what do you want me to do you know what i mean yeah um so i i get it
03:32um it's not it's not the spider-man it's not the sam marini spider-man i'll tell you that okay
03:38if you want that story you want down and out spider-man and you know how he overcomes his
03:43emotions and stuff like that you know the sam marini already done it it's called spider-man and
03:48and it's a really great movie if you go look go watch it but this spider-man is a you know it's it's
03:52the spider-man that they created to fit in the universe and a narrative that they're bigger
03:56narrative that they're trying to tell and um i i i enjoyed it i enjoyed the comedy uh for the most
04:03part um it's got some very funny parts um it's it's a 16 year old spider-man you know what i mean
04:11you know what i'm saying like he does knucklehead stuff you know you know what i mean and uh you know
04:17it's not it's not the college version spider-man you know that has a little bit of adults on him
04:22you know me you know he's paying bills and stuff you know what i mean he's not quite there yet um and
04:28i like that that they're showing the scientific side of him now he is a very smart person you know
04:36that he is a brain you know and they let that show a little bit in this in this movie um i appreciate
04:42uh i appreciate where this fits in the marvel cinematic universe going forward i don't think
04:48it was as good as homecoming i agree with you there um and his own merits i definitely give it
04:53a four out of five but if i had to say which one's better than the other i definitely would say homecoming
04:57was definitely definitely a more traditional spider-man movie you know what i mean more this is
05:03what spider-man is all about you know but i i get where they where they're trying to take the i i see
05:08the vision that they're trying to take the character so i'm i'm with it i'm in for it you
05:12know i really like to stay for the cut scenes the end scenes um there's two of them so don't miss them
05:19don't don't get up or if you're gonna run run run run really quick and run back so you don't miss
05:25them because uh you'll be kicking yourself if you don't if you do and it's definitely a good time
05:32the movie so i'll tell you that you know a worst case scenario so uh i'd highly recommend it go
05:38check it out fourth of july weekend it's going to be in movie theaters tuesday i believe right yeah
05:42starting tuesday so the whole fourth of july because fourth of july is weird this year yeah
05:46i think uh i think fourth of july does that it does that on purpose throws us like a curveball
05:52every like three years independence of america better oh man so go check it out spider-man
06:01far from home in theater starting tuesday okay tuesday yeah it's definitely worth a check out you
06:08won't be disappointed definitely i really like the uh the a little bit of torment that spider-man
06:13went through in his movie that was very spider-man-ish you know i mean that was like
06:17they ripped it out of comic book you know yeah yeah that's the part i did not like
06:21yeah you didn't like that no i mean that that was like some psychological spider-man stuff
06:25that they ripped out of the comic book and they put it on the movie screen yeah i like i like that
06:28i appreciate it yeah like i said for all the colors of the rainbow or the likes of the world
06:35yeah maybe i'm just maybe i'm just dead inside and i need the torment of winter soldiers you know
06:40maybe i need that and i need killmongers and uh but you know you know they're coming they're
06:46coming for you i need black panther twos and you're i need those types of yeah i need that type of
06:51uh conflict yeah quite didn't have that i think now i would say the performances are really good
06:55i think they'll get there with spider-man i just think right now they need to tell this story you
06:58know what i mean yeah just to get where i do feel like they told they told this story already in
07:03homecoming so i think that was a little bit of a continuation yeah a little bit of button of a
07:09little bit let me give this compliment though it does tie in well to the whole it gives a great view
07:14of the world after end game yeah so definitely what it's like if for anything it's worth that
07:18it's worth that yeah especially if you dig the end game and you're just you're just obsessing over
07:23it right now yeah and jb smooth is in it i gotta support jb smooth as a fellow comedian yeah i gotta
07:28support jb smooth yeah you know yeah and there's some other surprise things in there we just cannot
07:34spoil so it's definitely a good time with the movies go check it out spider-man uh far from home
