00:04The PGA TOUR suspended Wesley Bryan for participating in a live-golf-backed event two weeks ago.
00:10Tour officials have not commented, though Bryan told golf website MondayQ, which
00:15first reported the suspension, that he wasn't informed how long the ban would last,
00:20and indicated he would follow the tour's appeals process.
00:23Bryan, 35, is attending but not competing this week in the PGA TOUR's Corrales Puntacana Championship.
00:30In Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where he finished second last year to Billy Horschel.
00:35It is on the schedule opposite the RBC Heritage, which Bryan won in 2017 in his native South Carolina
00:42for his lone PGA TOUR victory.
00:45Bryan, who no longer has full tour status, has played three events in 2025, one as recently as
00:51March. He tied for 25th at the Farmers Insurance Open in January and has since missed two cuts.
00:57Bryan is 169th in the FedEx Cup standings, 31 points, with $75,068 in official earnings this
01:05season. He and his brother George have become popular for creating content on a YouTube channel,
01:11with videos featuring trick shots. Wesley Bryan participated in two PGA TOUR influencer events
01:16in the past year, including in March, Golf Digest reported. The Bryan brothers competed in a similar
01:22event run by Live Golf at Doral, called The Duels Miami, the week before the Masters.
