00:08edition of my HD2 radio show, Inside the Circle Pit.
00:11The last couple years, Inside the Circle Pit has given me many chances to really get involved
00:15with the genre of music I'm totally enthusiastic about.
00:19I've got Detroit hardcore band Walls of Jericho dropping by the studio to tape an interview
00:24for their upcoming benefit show to support Relentless Detroit.
00:27They've got a new track, several upcoming shows, including a European summer tour that's
00:33about to kick off.
00:35Eric here from Rift 2 Detroit's Inside the Circle Pit, and I'm joined in the studio today
00:39by Dustin, Candice, and Aaron from Walls of Jericho, and Tom from Relentless Detroit.
00:46How's it going, guys?
00:47Good, how are you doing?
00:48Fantastic.
00:49Thanks for joining me today.
00:51How come it's been so long since you guys have played Detroit?
00:54It's kind of my fault.
00:57Sorry, yeah, I, like 2009, got married and decided I wanted to have a family.
01:04I'm that guy in the relationship, I know.
01:07Has this show kind of helped build a different kind of excitement compared to, you know, the
01:11past shows or the European tour that you guys just did?
01:14I don't really know.
01:15I don't really, like, I don't know what's going on with the building process just because
01:19all of us kind of have, like, our own separate lives going on.
01:22Like, we don't, like, go to shows much, and when, I mean, the only thing that I've seen
01:26as far as, like, the excitement for the show is I've seen flyers and posters of the Magic
01:29Stick when I go see my friends play, so I don't know.
01:33On Facebook, yeah.
01:34It's definitely, it seems like there's a lot of excitement out there.
01:37For me, there definitely is.
