Fujiyama Snow Resort Yeti (or Snow Town Yeti) has been serving skiers since 1971. Resting on the southern foothills of Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, you can see a view of the great Mt. Fuji on clear days. Skiers from all around the world can always rely on it being open every season. The resort has late-night opening times, too, and every now and then, they even stay open all night. They have four slopes, each with a different level of difficulty, to choose from. In Snow Town Yeti, beginners, intermediates, and advanced players can all join in on the fun. For the children who are too young to ski, there’s a playground where they can play and stay warm. Once you get tired, warm up with some coffee at the cafe or enjoy a piping hot bowl of ramen at their restaurant.
00:00We had a great time in Yeti it was snowing heavy when we were there, March 8th, 2025 3 years old below is free so it's A plus compared to other Klug services. Timmy and Michael the tour guide was great thank you.
00:21My partner and I decided to book this trip out the Mount Buji as the idea of having all of your transport, gear and lessons covered under one umbrella sounded so perfect. Our instructors were so lovely, patient and supportive during our trip and were extremely attentive to those who needed more support. We were able to explore the resort and go at our own pace once we felt comfortable. It bucketed down snow today and was such a magical experience.
00:47We also got to meet a bunch of lovely individuals who were participating as well which made the experience even more worthwhile. I cannot recommend this tour enough, it is absolutely everything it says and was the highlight to my Japan trip, smiling face emoji, skier emoji, super fun activities for my kids. Well suit a beginner like my family. We selected the sledding package since it's our first time to snow area. My kids really enjoy playing in the snow.
01:14The tour guide was helpful and explained in detail on the skiing process and what safety precautions to be taken note in the bus prior arrival. It's advisable to get prepared the personal items on your own gadgets ahead like goggles, neck and face protection, winter waterproof glove, if none you might need to buy on the spot or rental, which I believe would be sold at a higher price.
01:35The Chinese tour guide is also a ski instructor and Japanese translator. He is very experienced and reliable in leading the group. The whole process made people feel very smooth and at ease.
01:46I like to hear Yuki say the most, two guests are late and we can't contact them, so we won't wait for them, let's go. Because the agreed meeting time has come, we won't wait for those who haven't come yet, let's start teaching first.
01:59She is very decisive and efficient, allowing us to have enough time to practice and ski, thumbs up emoji. At the same time, she is very attentive to the elderly and children in the group, and takes care of everything. We are lucky to have a good tour guide and coach.
02:14As for personal equipment not included in the package, you can rent snow goggles, required, and helmets, few people wear them, on site. It is recommended to bring your own mask, non-slip socks, at least knee length, and waterproof gloves, but even if you don't bring anything, you can buy them on site.
02:32In addition, the Fuji Ski Resort is very suitable for beginners. It has 100 meter and 1 kilometer gentle slopes, as well as another steeper ski slope. You can practice and challenge yourself step by step according to your proficiency level. When the weather is good, you can see Mount Fuji. It is close to the center of Tokyo, so it is a very cost-effective trip or a round trip on the same day.
