During Wednesday's press briefing, California Attorney General Rob Bonta answered questions about what response he expects from the courts regarding the lawsuits CA has filed against the Trump Administration.

00:00I'm sorry well I'm gonna have I got my attorney here we bring lawsuits when we

00:10think we're gonna win we've done that in the other 13 lawsuits up to this point

00:15we've had a lot of success in those lawsuits so far securing temporary

00:21restraining orders preliminary injunctions the approach here is the

00:26same although its application is different in that it applies to these

00:30universal tariffs it's the idea that the president is exercising authority that he

00:34doesn't have the president can't do unlawful things it's really that simple

00:38and he thinks he's above the law he's not he thinks he can violate the

00:43Constitution and the law and he can't and so it's up to us to hold him

00:46accountable to following the law and in any court where we will get what courts

00:51give a fair and objective hearing a full review of the facts of complete analysis

00:56of the law we believe will be successful and we believe that in this case
