00:00A lawmaker is seeking answers following the collapse of a concrete column at an MRT construction site in West Avenue, Quezon City.

00:08House Deputy Minority Leader Bernadette Herrera filed House Resolution No. 2262,

00:13urging an investigation to determine the cause of the incident, spot any oversight lapses,

00:18and recommend safety measures for future projects.

00:22Herrera stressed the need for accountability from contractors, engineers, project managers, and government agencies

00:28and called for a review of construction safety regulations to prevent similar accidents.
