Wolves legend Steve Bull and wife Kirsty have been announced as Ambassadors for Compton Care.

00:05of Compton Care today. Longtime supporters, of course, we're in the grounds of Compton

00:11Care, just close to the Wolves training ground and both, Steve, have been steeped, well you've

00:17been steeped in Wolverhampton for a long time, the same as Compton Care and now you're officially

00:23going to be an ambassador. How does it feel? I'm delighted to be fair, we just support

00:29quite a few charities but this one's to heart, it's literally, I mean it's about 400 yards

00:33from my house, I mean, I am a frequent visitor here and I visit quite a few patients here

00:37and it's sad to be here but it's good because they look after you, as soon as you come through

00:41the doors, they look after the people. Yeah, and Kirsty, we're in the area where the

00:47Steve Ball Foundation has partly funded an area of rest for families where they can meet the

00:52patients, it's looking lovely isn't it? It's absolutely amazing, so I mean,

00:59we have closed the Steve Ball Foundation now, but before we did we just wanted to provide

01:04something really special in the community and we worked closely with Compton to see what

01:07they needed and we have funded this fantastic facility for patients, relatives to come in

01:13and sit and have a bite to eat, a drink, just relax, I mean it's absolutely amazing. When you

01:19walk in it just feels like you're in a completely different place, it's very tranquil, we're so,

01:23so, so proud of it and already we know a difference it's made to the relatives that come to visit

01:29the poorly patients, so yeah, we're absolutely chuffed. Yeah, because a lot of people think

01:32it's just for the patients, it's for the patients, it ain't, it's for the people around them,

01:36it's the mums, the dads, the granddads, the kids, they all come and see the people here

01:41and they need a rest point and this is the ideal place to have a rest point. People have said to us

01:44haven't they, we've used the facility and it's just absolutely amazing, so yeah, we're very proud of it,

01:49really, really chuffed. And of course recently going back to football you just celebrated your

01:5460th birthday a few weeks ago still. Thanks for that, yes. I have asked them to keep me a bed

01:58in here, because I've been 90s. No, it's one of them things, we all get old, it's one of them things,

02:04he said, I want to forget about it now, I've got other people saying happy birthday,

02:09happy birthday, it's gone now, no more. It's got that much planned, you won't believe it,

02:14just watch this space. Well it's good to see you both here today in this newly refurbished area.
