Adolescence series has revealed a phenomenon hiding in plain sight -- Manosphere and its community of men and boys.
Manosphere is an online space brimming with anti-feminist ideas, incel culture and misogyny. It promotes male supremacy at the cost of labelling women fundamentally different -- somehow inferior and definitely deserving of being penalized.
While the manosphere has become pervasive, entering our phones and minds - with or without consent - the show has brought out an important question: How do parents of teenagers know what’s going on with their children ? How do they assure that a seemingly normal childhood may not be so normal after all?
