00:20Trump was speaking after the U.S. government granted tariff exclusions on Saturday for

00:24smartphones, computers and other electronics imports, many of which are sourced from China

00:29shielding them from President Donald Trump's steep 125 percent tariffs.

00:34A White House official said, however, that Trump will launch a new national security trade

00:39investigation into semiconductors.

00:41Soon, that could lead to other new tariffs on the sector.
