00:00I think it's okay to think something's cruel and even if you still have it you
00:05can still think it's cruel it doesn't matter I know it's just interesting no
00:08I don't eat a lot of it but I've eaten cheese here like it sounds cruel and I'm
00:13gonna and I do eat pizza and also you get the hormones they say you get the
00:16hormones in the milk don't know that you're drinking the hormones and when
00:19they've been in distress well human human beings are the only people who drink
00:23because they say it's full of puss yeah I know it's disgusting actually that's the
00:27bit it's I feel like it's cruel the way they're farm where it's different where
00:43it's not like can you just milk a cow naturally in it a cow is supposed to be
00:51milk most dairy farms wouldn't do that they will be connected to these machines
00:55but is a cow supposed to be milked well it's milk is for its calf you want it
01:02right like you like any mammal yeah but they induce them with drugs to make to
01:08make more instantly yeah produce milk so they can milk them so it wouldn't be bad
01:12if it were just milk time if it was like yeah exactly yeah coughing season but
01:17it's not yeah and then the machines leave them with blisters and they pour some
01:22yeah and then you add oat milk for so long and then I read all this stuff that
01:30oat milk wasn't good for you and it's got a lot of sugar in it and almond well I
01:35think it's better than almonds probably the best isn't it well then you talk about
01:41how almonds or where they're grown and what's happening to the natural landscape I tell you
01:48there's not a lot you can put in your mouth that hasn't got some backstory yeah yeah it's true
01:52nothing's good these days but we should be grateful that we can eat and that we have food yes and we've
02:00got a choice and we've got a choice yeah there's plenty of people who would and we can't try and
02:06stop growing things yeah I like the idea of being veggie but I've just had meat for so long
02:13I can't 1980 I go on and off I go on and I will eat veggie meals and stuff I don't always have to
02:21have a oh yeah me too I can't even remember what meat tasted like I was thinking I was really 1980
02:281982 I thought wow I've no I've and the hardest thing to give up then was bacon and then a year
02:36after that I've no comprehension when we were on holiday in the Bahamas we went to what they call
02:42it that Japanese thing where they talk and yucky teppanyaki no there's some I don't know what it's
02:48called yeah we we went and look I'm pescatarian and and there's stories about how they catch fish
02:56much grazing land so they weren't meat was they weren't vegetarian but the islands have fish
03:07or maybe chickens they don't have a lot of room for yeah for big live cattle and livestock
03:11my mum was veggie for years because when she was a kid me nan got these two turkeys from
03:20a guy that she knew in the pub for Christmas live ones and they and she thought they were frozen and
03:29he gives the cream around give them in the sack she paid for them and then my mum my nan was in bed
03:34and my mum and her brothers the bag started moving around the kitchen and making noise and they'd give
03:41her two live turkeys did they kill them so they ended up keeping them for like a couple of years
03:46as pets in the backyard don't they threaten them up well my mum didn't know that's what they were doing
03:52they were two pets called Larry and Mo the chicken the turkeys were called Larry and Mo and they were
03:58massive Larry and what Larry and Mo and then when my mum came back from working one night or wherever
04:04she was they were having dinner and she tucked in and she said what's for dinner and my granddad went
04:08Larry we've got Mo tomorrow oh that's what she said and then she she went veggie for years
04:15till she met me dad and he gave her a bacon boy my husband always said one of his goals he would
04:23meet a woman one day who would feed him bacon because he's Jewish he's not mean
04:28and a lot of people can't have it yeah so in the old days all the vegetarian food was soy
04:36yeah now you've got more of a joy and you get really gassy when you eat all that veggie soy stuff
04:41oh two three four
04:46I'll get my crystal ball out in a minute have you got one have you got a crystal ball you lie
