00:00But I wouldn't say it's a permanent red line. The Iranian regime is very flexible

00:04when it comes to survival, when it feels like it's endangered. So if they feel like

00:10that either they fully give up the nuclear program or risk U.S. attacks, I think there's a high

00:20likelihood they would give it up. The mere fact that they've even agreed to sit down with the

00:26Trump administration itself is an example of that flexibility. It's known in Iran as heroic flexibility.

00:33And that is because the Iranian regime prioritizes self-preservation above all else.

00:38And Tehran believes that the greatest threat to its stability, to the regime's group on power,

00:45is a U.S. military attack. It doesn't fear anything else or anyone else more than that.

00:49So I think in the end, if they're forced with only two options,

00:55give up the nuclear program or be attacked, I think we could see them give up.

01:00And let's not forget as well, in 2019, the Supreme Leader of Iran banned talks with Trump,

01:08and that time they stuck by it. There were no negotiations between Trump and Iran, but this

01:13time we're saying that they've agreed to speak. Now, that could be because the situation is very

01:18different, 2015 versus 2019, because Iran is in a much worse position.
